Feed Your Roots Organic Mousse, 8oz

I have the Innersense mouse and I prefer this one! I got so much more volume and less residue from Yarok plus it was less per ounce so it was a much better deal for the quality and price. I also preferred the smell of Yarok over Innersense. I didn’t really notice a strong smell with Yarok but I do with Innersense. They both support my hair health during my growth so both are great I just prefer Yarok!

Product has ingredients that are non-irritating to the skin including parfum fragrance. I have very sensitive skin and this product is perfect for that. It also works with different types of hair. I have curly 3A hair and it is difficult to find something that works well with it. It has a light soft hold that doesn't weigh down hair.

I received my order quickly and was extremely pleased with how fast it was shipped and I love how it makes my hair shine and volume is good. My first shipment had leaked some into the plastic wrap. I wasn't asking to return it just wanted to inform yarok of so they could check on how they wrap. I emailed them and told them what happened and that I did not want to return it that I was just informing them. I received an email immediately and yarok shipped me a replacement in short amount of time. I will continue to use the Feed Your roots and I will continue to order from yarok. Good product, good customer service.

On the fence about this product. Its a genius idea. Feed your roots and ends. But the product feels drying on my hair and scalp after applying.

Yarok mousse is the only product I've found that doesn't make my hair crunchy and dried out. It's a light product that goes effortlessly into damp hair to provide lift and definition! I really like this mousse, the smell is wonderful and the price is great for the bottle. Word of warning, the bottle being sold on Amazon is not a verified Yarok design or bottle. It looks different than any other Yarok bottle which should be clear with a golden translucent product. The one sent is a white bottle, cheaper feeling with white product. I'm wary this is the real deal so I am returning this and will stick only with buying it directly from Yarok!

My bad for not looking to see that this bottle is only 2 oz, but aside from the outrageousnes of $18 for a travel sized bottle, the product itself doesn't deliver. Doesn't foam, little to no "hold" for styling, and it smells like Lemon Pledge furniture polish. Very disappointed. It gets one star for being cruelty free, but I think you can find better options out there.

I had a scaly condition show up on my head that extended to my hairline and around my face. After visiting a dermatologist, I discovered that it was most likely an allergic reaction to the cheap hair products I was using. I went home and threw everything out, then turned to Amazon for the products recommended by my dermatologist. This wasn't necessary the same brand, but I tried it because it was free of all the unhealthy ingredients my dermatologist told me to avoid. It has worked great! My allergic reaction eventually disappeared, and I think this product was at least partially responsible. I will never use cheap hair products ever again!

Smelled nice but had no hold

I have fine frizzy/wavy hair. I have never found a mousse that worked until I found this. Bought one a few years ago when it was sold directly in the uk and have been waiting to replace it. I love using this on dry hair, it turns an unruly mess into a thing of beauty. A few seconds of work and it looks like I have made an effort. I have also tried this on the roots for blow drying and it gives a nice body to the hair. Furthermore, once dried you can simply brush it out and it does not leave a residue. I have checked this product on Yukka and it gets a high rating for safe ingredients too. All in all, a fantastic product - I also rate their hair spray.
