Bought this for my wife and myself, we each wear it and feel a connection both with each other and our Lord and Savior.

I have read in numerous reviews where reviewers say they wish they others had put the discount/free disclosure prior to the review, because they think that by paying less for the product the reviewer is being "bought." Well, I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, and for those of you who think I have "been bought" by Amazon or the sellers to write something glowingly positive, let me tell you: I personally would never endorse a product if I did not truly believe in the quality. So if you think that these discounted rate purchase reviews are contrived, those from some other reviewers may be, but anything I say is the honest truth. That being said, here's what I really think of the product:These necklaces are super cute. In the picture it looks like they are the same size with one positioned behind the other (or at least I thought it did...) In actuality, one is considerably smaller than the other--truly a man-woman size difference. The black metal is well painted--chip resistant. The silver is nice and shiny. The necklace is very cute--feminine enough for a girl but not so feminine that it could not easily be worn by a man. Overall, it really is a nice set. I got this for Christmas for my fiancé and I. we both love the style but the sharp edges kind of bother. it took my skin a while to get used to the metal. its a very simple piece of jewelry. I really do like it!

These charms are way bigger than depicted in the pics. The mens is roughly 3 inches tall and the womens is about 2. A bit gawdy. Will be asking for a refund

First, I would like to comment that I am reviewing the necklaces, not the box. I got mine in, and the nice quality box that they show in the picture is NOT what I received. Mine was more of a plain cardboard type of box, that you would get from your local store off of a display case, with the exception that mine was red, with a nice little bow / ribbon on just the lid. But mine also came with one of those pull string bags to close it up, inside of the box too. The box is cheap, the bag is pretty, but also cheap, but they work, and since that has nothing to do with the actual product that you are buying it for, the necklace, I will let that go in the rating. You should just know what you are getting. Do not expect the box to be the same as the one in the listing.The necklaces do have a nice weight to them. But the larger one does have a little weight to it. Not too much, but remember, these are made out of stainless steel, so do not expect a really light necklace for the larger one. I would say that the larger one probably weighs about 2 ounces.. or around there, just guessing. Not too heavy.The finish on the necklaces is a very smooth, shiny, black finish. I could find no flaws in the finish of the actual cross. The edges and corners, feel like they have been rubbed to round off to get any really sharp edges off too, which is nice. The ring around the cross is has a nice shiny finish, with the same kind of edges as the cross does, but is more like chrome plated, instead of the black. The one thing that there is a mark in on the ring is just one mark. Right where they put the ring together, to fit around the cross, there is a very thin line, where the 2 ends meet. This is not very noticeable. In fact, I had to take a good look at them before I even noticed that they were there. They fit together and blend in that good, so I would not worry about it. Just a thing from manufacturing that is hard to avoid when putting 2 pieces like this together. Especially when using something like stainless steel.The chain, has a nice shiny chrome plated (at least I think it is chrome, same as the ring on the cross) finish to it. It has the same design as the one in the picture. It feels really durable too, at least for what it is. What the chain actually reminds me of is those chains that are attached to ceiling fans. They even have one of those slide in the hole to click it in place type of ends. You know how durable those chains are, having to get pulled to turn lights and fans on day after day, so if that kind of thing can hold up to that kind of abuse day after day, it is more then strong enough to being used as a necklace. The only real differences I can see is the different design, it being made out of stainless steel with a nice coating, not a cheap coating and regular steel like ceiling lights usually have, and probably about 1/2 to 2/3rds the thickness of the ceiling fan / light ones. I do not see the looks of the chain degrading like cheap ceiling fan chains do. These should hold up much better.The weak point in the whole setup is the bracket where the chain attaches tot he cross. That is metal that is just bent over, and doubles up in the hole that it goes though, in the cross. This metal is not really flimsy, and has the same nice finish that the rest of the cross has, but just know that if you yank it for some reason, where it gets caught pretty good, that will probably bend and the cross will probably come off. But that is only if it is yanked pretty bad. Under normal use, you should have no problem with it staying right where it is. If it does come off, you can just bend it right back, and it should be as good as new. I just wanted you to be aware that it is not one solid ring through there. I honestly see nothing wrong with this, as I have seen much much flimsier attachments in other necklaces.They are very beautiful necklaces, and with them being made out of stainless steel, you should not have any problems with any kind of tarnish, or anything else. Since the ones that come in the main listing look like they are computer generated, and with the box being different, I have included some pictures so you can see how my setup came. I give them a 5 star, as I really can find nothing wrong with them, other then the different box, which is minor.I got my set at a reduced cost for an honest review. But I try to be as thorough in my descriptions as possible so you know exactly what you get.

I was pleasantly surprised at the really nice quality of this necklace set! There is some weight to them (not very much, just the right amount to let you know its not cheaply made). This is made from stainless steel, which is nice because there will not be concern of it tarnishing or turning you green! The necklaces are very smooth and shiny, with a black finish with the edges rounded off-so no sharp sides to poke. They are very beautiful necklaces and they look amazing!The chain that comes with it is nice in weight and length as well. It also comes in a cute little gift box too. Inside the box-is a small mesh bag with hearts on it and drawstrings ---the necklaces each come in their own smaller plastic bag, as does each chain. It is stunning to see as you open your gift box!I got so many compliments on mine alone! I had several people already ask me after just one day as to where I purchased it from! Its very unique and I think would even be a great gift idea! I have found nothing wrong with this item.
