Bruce Looks Even Bigger!
Jaws and I go way back. I first saw it when the film came outs in the ‘70s and I’ve always enjoyed its epic-ness. Now, the 50th anniversary dvd (can I really be that old?) has come out and it’s like seeing it for the first time - only better. This restored version has incredible sound and the visuals are stunning! The picture clarity is so crisp and the colors are vibrant. Listen for the bubble gurgling sounds at the beginning of the film. Never knew it was there. Can’t wait to see all the included docs and making of features. Truly the best big fish story ever filmed! Oh, and for the unknowing, Bruce was what they named the mechanical shark.

Jaws at 50
Celebrating this classic turning 50 was fun. Plus, it comes with the bonus documentary, Jaws at 50. Excellent 4k transfer of the film. 50 years later, and it's still making an impact on society. I am glad that a portion of the money goes to protecting sharks, very important.

That big guy again in 4k
It’s Jaws the ultimate classic which you must have in your 4K collection. Richard Dreyfuss is a great actor and he comes through in this movie. Sound is superb with a Dolby Atmos system. It will bring you into the water on the hunt for this big, huge intelligent nasty Great White Shark.

Beautiful restoration, crisper than original, many documentaries!
Excellent restoration enhancement over the original, + hours of documentaries, some explaining what was done to make it look so good, and great 7.1 audio! I remember standing in line for an hour+ back in 1975, and in spite of 50 years passage, the same scenes "got me" this time as well, and other scenes brought back some great memories! Playback was beautiful, "Universal" side menu, as usual was a little odd, but easily navigable. Also has D-BOX capability on one of the audio channels for (haptics/chair thumping?). I can't speak to the quality of that. All in all I give this 2014 blu-ray release of Jaws a perfect score.

Classic shark movie. Love this movie. Made before computer imaging.

Sharp picture.
This was a very good Blu-ray. There is not a huge difference between this and a DVD copy, but there definitely is a difference. You won’t see it in all parts, but you do see it in many. I think it is worth the upgrade.
