My Grandbabies Thrive
Born prematurely my twin grandbabies get this and it surely nourishes their lil bodies this first year. I’m appalled at these prices tho. What young couple could afford this formula on simple pay and then think about it -they must buy these 6packs more and more often now that the babies at 7 mos eat more.

Great value bundle
Really helpful when the store shelves have a 2 tin policy. The quality of the powder was very good upon arrival as we opened the seal as it got consumed by the baby over time.

Premature Twin Life
I saw all the other comments and found them very helpful. My twins were born at 29 weeks and so we have been on this formula. However they do have tummy troubles. They are both gasey and one has a little constipation trouble. My pediatrician wanted them to continue taking it despite all that because of all the benefits this formula has. So we take gas drops, gripe water has been a huge help, and we have to use a little Miralax for the constipation. May sound like a lot but sorta worth it for all the benefits of the formula. They have gained a good bit of weight and are only two months behind developmentally. I agree that the price is just a little outrageous. Especially with all the hospital bills that have to be paid and everything with twins is double anyways. We are going through a 22.8oz can in about 3 to 4 days and lawl help me when they start taking more. These are my thoughts. Many blessings to you all.

Finally a great price on Amazon!!
I'm not really sure how to review this formula. It is only recommended that you use this under the direction of a physician, so whether or not it worked for our babies doesn't mean that it will, or even should be attempted, for your babies. If, however you're just checking to see if other people have used it, then yes, our preemies were given this in the hospital and we continued its use at home. When asked if I could switch formulas, my pediatrician advised not to since the babies still needed the 22 calorie formula. Even at 10 weeks premature, our babies at 3 months now are no different than ACTUAL 3 month babies - pretty amazing. But, yes, now the price on Amazon is inline with what you will find in the store. The only better deal I can find is to use the coupons that Similac sends out, but there are only so many of those. But free shipping and no tax through Amazon? Can't beat that!I bought it at eighty nine dollars, so that at least saved me tax. I also bought it through one of the other sellers here on Amazon for seventy two dollars, and that was even better. Just depends on when you read this review as to whether or not it's relevant.**Update - the Neosure also ended up being very hard on our babies' tummies. They were switched to Alimentum, and now the $15 a can - even with tax - is like a dream price.

Worked well but didn't love!
The hospital put my baby on this brand for the high calorie intake she needed. It caused alot of fussiness, constipation & skin rashes due to some of the ingredients causing inflammation. I didn't care for it for my baby but other NICU moms liked it. I suppose it depends on the baby. It did help her gain weight as needed.

NICU & Doctor recommended, works well as a fortifier and on its own.
We had triplets born at 32 weeks and in the NICU for between 4 and 7 weeks after that. This was the formula they used both to fortify breast milk as well as straight formula to supplement while we were there, and was what our doctor requested for them when they came home. We stuck to this program and it seems to be fine. For those of us with multiples it would be nice if it was available in a larger package; we go through about a can a day (they are about four months now). We use it to supplement breast milk. At first we kept the milk separate so we could ensure they drank 100% of the BM before formula, but as they got more consistent with their feeds we started to mix. This seems to work fine for us.Amazon's price is slightly better or in line with retail stores, but it can be hard to find in any quantity on local store shelves. We are currently using about 30 cans a month, so the subscribe-and-save service is great and the extra savings makes it a good deal.
