The photo depicts a boot and the reviewed shoe is a mule.This is the fourth pair of Walking Cradles Cadens I have owned. I hope they never stop making them and that they continue to produce nice new variations on the theme - like the tooled leather available in black, brown, and tan this year - I might have to buy all three! The "tooling" jacks up the shoe with a bit of pizazz, and the new saddle tan color is really very nice.I usually order from Zappos but decided to give Amazon a try. The shoes are perfect, but the packing material is gross. I can't tell if it's the outside box, the inner shoe box, or the tissue paper because it's all permeated with a strong moldy smell. I think the shoes will be OK with airing, but the box and paper have to go into the trash ASAP before I sneeze my head off. Weird and very annoying.The really good news is, I have a terrible Morton's neuroma and I can walk in my Cadens pain-free all day long. I have no explanation for that and neither does my podiatrist, but if you have the same problem, give them a try.The sizes are spot-on accurate and the shoes wear extraordinarily well.They are more than decent-looking for business or casual wear, they're in fact quite handsome with slacks or jeans, and can be worn comfortably with or without socks.Two thumbs up for Walking Cradles Caden!!

Was hesitant about ordering shoes on line. I wear a 6 extra wide and I absolutely hate buying shoes. I also have high instep which makes shoes so difficult to buy that it just takes all the fun out it. I took a chance on these and couldn't believe how great they felt! Instead of having to break them in I was able to just slip them on and go! No painful pinching or rubbing. I actually have enough room to wear socks! This may sound odd to people who have average feet but with my feet I usually wear something super thin like knee high hose so I have enough room. If you are trying to decide if you need wide or extra wide, the wide will probably be just right. For people like me who definitely need extra wide these shoes are soooo comfortable. I bought the brown and will be ordering the black soon!

These shoes are beautiful but I from the reviews I heard they ran small so I ordered a half size up. The shoe was SO tight my foot would not slide to the end, So...I sent them back and ordered my true size in a Wide. When they came they were HUGE I would have walked out of them. It is strangest show I ever tried on. I was disappointed because it seems to be nice quality and comfortable if they weren't made so strangely.

These shoes are beautiful and soooooooooo comfortable! Out-of-the-box instantly comfortable! I have a wider foot, but a regular size typically fits me. The regular (B) in these was VERY narrow -I could not even get my foot into it. I returned and ordered the wide (C/D) size, and it is perfect - even a touch loose, but with socks it is really perfect. The heel is great - these look great with jeans and dress pants. I love them and will definitely order again!

I swear by Walking Cradles. I've worn their sandals for several years now after switching from Birkenstocks but a carreer change meant I needed something a little more "business" than just slip on sandals. I ordered these and a pair of WC Slip On Loafers and I never fail to get compliments on both pairs. They are extremely comfortable, even for all day. Just the right size that I can wear them with regular socks, and when worn with a pair of slacks or jeans it looks like I'm wearing boots. I've been wearing them close to a year (not daily, but at least once a week, more during the winter) and they still look brand new so they're also durable.

These are sleek, great looking shoes, well constructed. I normally wear a size 10 - 10.5. I do have a high instep, so I went up and or ordered wide to allow for more room in the instep. The 10.5 wide, still didn't allow my foot in the shoe deep enough, not to feel the little ridge on my heel, so I returned these and kept the 11 I ordered. I had a little extra room at the heel, but I feel like my foot is more comfortably all the way in the shoe. Lightweight and comfortable.

These are well made good looking shoes. I had bought a pair in black a while ago and I must say thy really hold up well. They look great with pants, especially long legged ones because they give the illusion of boots. This particular style with the leather tooling makes for a unique look and they look specially made and quite expensive. The brown is lighter than in the picture however, more of a medium reddish brown than dark.Great fit and comfortable with just the right heel height for everyday walking. Highly recommended.

Great deal on a great shoe! Walking Cradles generally sell for three times this price. Well made and much more stylish on than the photo. Looks like a sleek boot when worn with jeans or work slacks, but it's an easy to slip into mule. I have very narrow feet, and this AAA fits perfectly. Wore it right out of the box and it was totally comfortable.
