So easy to read and reflect on where I can apply this in my life.*Hell is other people if we allow them*Focusing on the 'now' and not stuck in the future*Comparison is the thief of joySo well put. Well done Owen.Love the Commitment and Case Study element. It made me think of my own case studies! Simplistic.

Buy it and do yourself a favour.
This relates only to Ten to Zen as I have not read Ten Times Happier yet. Ten to Zen is a very well written book which does not go into unnecessary jargon on lengthy case studies. The case studies used are brief and to the point, and very relevant. Accounts of the author’s own life are both brave and illuminating. The approach seems to be, at least in part, based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) but is a cut down and much more manageable approach (in my opinion). My apologies if this interpretation in incorrect, I am an no expert on CBT or other approaches. I found this approach easy to understand, easy to practice and instantly beneficial. I have yet to fully internalise the process so cannot comment on its long term effects as yet.If I have one small complaint it relates to the clarity of the structure of the book. There are steps, minutes, chapters and parts and initially I was a little confused by this -a minor point I need to meditate on.I would strongly recommend this book to anyone interested in how the mind works and how to take back at least some control of it. I would also think that most people who suffer from some anxiety, which is probably most of us, would be helped by this approach.

A gift for mental health
It’s my best decision to start reading habit with these books, it’s not only enhancing my English level as well as helping me to balance my mind as I was so upset with my situations
