When you buy jugs of detergent, you are truly paying for a lot of water in the product. You also need to dispose of all those jugs. Even if you buy the smallest jug of the most highly concentrated soap, it is still a lot that goes to the dump over the years. And not enough of plastic jugs and bottles get recycled. First time my wife heard of these detergent sheets, she was excited. I was skeptical. How is it that we are truly only using THAT MUCH actual SOAP to wash a WHOLE LOAD? Took a bit for me to get used to just one half sheet works for a whole load. We DO sometimes add the whole sheet if we have been working outside a lot. We tried two other brands - she reacted to the first one with skin rashes everywhere. I reacted to the second one with a horrible rash on my feet from my socks. So our next attempt was TruEarth - my wife has super sensitive skin and immune system, while i do not. TruEarth is the ONLY one that has not caused either of us to have a problem. When she realized how neither of us reacted to TruEarth, she rewashed literally ALL our laundry in the first package and ordered more! We chose the unscented, which she loves, and it dissolves easily in warm or cold water in our top loading washing machine. I will say that when our WINTER water comes in and it is SUPER cold, the TruEarth sheets don't dissolve as easily and once or twice they left tiny blobs on a couple of articles of clothing. That was easily remedied by rewashing the load on a short cycle. It was also remedied by ALWAYS making sure in winter we toss the sheet into warm water before starting a whole load. This can easily be done by adding a little hot water into the washer first, pausing the cycle, adding the soap sheet, and when dissolved, switch the load to cold or warm and continue as a regular load. OR you can have a small container of hot water handy (she uses an old quart size yogurt or cottage cheese tub), place a sheet in, load the washer as usual, then dump the dissolved laundry soap into your washer just like you would a liquid detergent. I will say, this is not an issue for just TruEarth. My wife and I had to dissolve all three brands in warm or hot water when it was cold outside. But we DO live over 3,000 feet in the Appalachians and our winter water is LIKE ICE some days. Removing stains: this product is great at removing grass stains, dirt stains from the gardens, spilled foods (grease or oil need extra treatments, but that is normal for us), and even baby spit up. We haven't had to pretreat anything since starting to use TruEarth except for oil or grease stains. Oh, it also removes stench, stink and smells easily, too. Definitely a product we regularly recommend to family and friends. Review: Work great - I have sensitive skin so I'm always careful with laundry detergent, but this one hasn't bothered me at all. It gets the clothes clean easily, including ick from being sick in bed. It dissolves easily with no residue and takes up very little room with the small size. Overall it leaves clothes fresh and is better for the environment so a win! ## Features - GENTLE AND HYPOALLERGENIC DETERGENT: Specially formulated as hypoallergenic laundry detergent, made in Canada, Eco-Strips are perfect for newborns and babies with sensitive skin. What is the difference?** A: I really don't smell the "baby" fragrance. It cleans the clothes well, but no fragrance really. I just a put a few of those fragrance beads for dryers. I like Tru Earth because that one less heavy thing I have to deal with like a heavy bottle of detergent. LOL **Q: What's the difference between this and the fragrance free?** A: This isn’t fragrance free. It has a very light baby power like smell. **Q: Can you use this on silk?** A: Hello and thank you for reaching out with your question! We do not recommend washing silk fabrics with Tru Earth. We recommend that consumers follow the specific washing and detergent recommendations of each clothing manufacturer. Most silk fabric manufacturers usually recommend dry-cleaning or hand-washing silk with specific cleaners. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out to us via Amazon's buyer-seller messaging! **Q: What does the baby stripes smell like a light scents i hope** A: I don’t recall any scent so it must have been light. It has been awhile since I have used them (good reminder to reorder 🙂). ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best one yet! *by J***N on September 27, 2023* We have been using the TruEarth laundry sheets now for quite a while. Overall it leaves clothes fresh and is better for the environment so a win! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well but is Pricey *by K***N on April 4, 2026* As a current college student living in a dorm the Tru Earth Sheets were convenient and also lasted for a while (around 31 weeks) I was sometimes unsure if so, I did regularly use 1 1/2 sheets instead of 1. While not the cheapest, the level of freshness and lack of odor afterwards was worth the price. ## Frequently Bought Together - Tru Earth Hypoallergenic Baby Laundry Detergent Sheets/Strips for Sensitive Skin, 64 Count, Up to 128 Loads: Fragrance Free Baby Detergent Laundry Newborn, Children, Baby Clothes - Tru Earth Fabric Softener Strips for Washing Machine, Alternative to Fabric Softener Liquid and Pods, Unscented Fragrance Free, Up to 64 Loads Per 32-Count --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hu/products/224945760-hypoallergenic-baby-laundry-detergent-sheets-strips-64-strips](https://www.desertcart.hu/products/224945760-hypoallergenic-baby-laundry-detergent-sheets-strips-64-strips) --- *Product available on Desertcart Hungary* *Store origin: HU* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
