Cute colors and great textures. The pages are sturdy as well, so I know my son won't rip them apart right away.I am giving this book three stars because the rhymes have uneven rhythms. I would enjoy reading it more if it read more smoothly. You can read the text in the example images and decide if this is an issue for you or not.Also, the first page says that chimps don't have hair on their faces. They actually do have hair on their faces, but it is not as thick as the rest of their body.One other thing to note... This is not a pro or a con, but just something to note. This book doesn't have a storyline. Each page is its own individual rhyme, but they are not connected as a cohesive story.Now that I have a collection of children's books, I find that the ones I enjoy picking up the most have a nice storyline, beautiful images, and a smooth rhyming structure.This book has a lot of positive features, and it really excels as a touch and feel book. I just wish the text could be reworked to include a storyline and a smooth rhyming structure.

Cute book for a baby.

My daughter loves this book. Everytime I open it she wants to feel the different textures. The gator was the only meh feeling page. Children 6 months or older will love it!

This book was cute. Loved the art work. The issue I had was that there was only one page that had a texture difference. All of the other pages were the same type of fur, no variation. But my child only 10months old so she still enjoys the book.
