Most approachable AP Physics review book out there
This is an excellent book for first year HS physics students. The book is written in plain easy to understand language. This makes it perfect for those kids who are intimidated by the usually "physics speak." It is tailored to the new college board's focus on conceptual understand and doesn't focus only on the math. The questions in the practice test feel authentic. Detailed answers and rationale are given for each question. I've been teaching AP Physics for 15 years and this is the first review book I have ever recommended to my students.

Packaging issue
The book received as described. However, a corner of the book was damaged, I think it's because bubble envelope was being used for shipment, it inadequate to protect the book during delivery.

Shallow and Calc errors in examples
Using the book to review, and while the explanations are relatively easy to follow, they are not in depth enough to match up to the some of the jumping being done in the examples. this could be my own knowledge gaps, but the text doesn't explain why these substitutions are being made.for example: In the chapter about rotational inertia, the provided example clearly states the bar is 3 m in length and the L = bar length. In the calculation portion for this examples, Jacob's uses 1m in all the calculations WITHOUT EXPLAINING WHY!Makes this example very frustrating (this happened before in the explanations in the practice problems for the momentum and impulse chapter....specifically Q 3 - Arbitrary number used without explanation <--- had to go to youtube/khan academy to try to figure out what was going on.)Definitely not a good choice for use in isolation.
