Updated Review: I had them on wrong. They fit fine! They are really wide. Maybe for people with bigger calves. But, they fit fine.

These legwarmers were used to substitute for "slouch socks" in a costumes in a middle school play. The colors were bright pink and bright yellow. They were perfect. There is an opening for the heel so that the legwarmers could be worn inside shoes. However we were able to put them on over the shoes and place them from ankles to under the knee without having to wear like a sock. We simply bunched them to hide the holes. This allowed for quicker costume changes without having to remove shoes. Cut our costume change time in half! Note: we did have to really stretch them to fit over the shoe, but they took the punishment and still looked great.

Tall people, make skinny pants (or leggings) and ankle boots work for you.I hate when pants are just a little too short and socks are visible between pants and boots. I don't know why I hate this, but I do. For people like me, leg warmers are the perfect solution. I wear them every day.These do the job. They are a relatively tight weave, so there are no gaps in the stitching, which is great for hiding the sock gap, keeping legs warm, and durability.

Although I purchased these for a rather non-traditional reason. My loving kitty likes to "stretch" up my legs & inadvertently his claws find my thin skin. Since I do not want to wear jeans, but prefer Maxi dresses for comfort, these work perfectly to protect me! I was worried that they might be too small (I'm 5'8" tall and a bit over 200 lbs), but they work perfectly without binding! Well made, would buy again if my kitty shreds these!

I bought these in two colors (light and dark grey), and they're a life savers for me. My right leg swells badly from nerve damage, and I can't seem to find any warm socks that will keep my legs warm and not encourage the swelling. These work perfectly. Soft, warm and easy on the leg. Only complaint is they do stretch out some. I solve that by scrunching them down some, so it's not that big a deal. However, if you're looking for leg warmers that stay put, you might want to try others.

This was just what I was looking for, a quick extra layer of warmth that is easy on, easy off. As Coronavirus quarantine presses on, we need to spend more time outside, and this is a quick way to stay warm without having to put on snowpants all the time. The heel hole makes a big difference. I like them and would recommend them for leg warmth to maybe 20 deg F with little wind so far.

This is a sock, there is no hole for the heel of your foot, just a regular sock which went all the way up to my thigh - I was hoping for just under the knee.Also the white is not true white it is a cream color and not at all what I was hoping for.I will keep to wear at home in the winter time, but was not able to use for the intended purpose.

Very warm. Nice color. A little large around the top of the calf, but manageable. Will buy again.
