Love this compact ceiling fan!!
We recently gutted our old kitchen of 20+ years and spent the last 6 months remodeling it. Our house is a ranch style built in the 60's with a kitchen dining room combo. We chose an industrial design with minimal cabinets and most everything on wheels or up off the floor for easy cleaning. Our old kitchen/dining combo had a ceiling fan over the dining area. When we were choosing the lighting etc it was my husband's idea to put a ceiling fan over the kitchen area rather than the dining. Honestly I wasn't crazy about the idea until I looked at the small compact styles, like this one. After comparing several, we came to an agreement on this style and are both very pleased with our choice.Though small, it throws a considerable amount of air, has 3 settings w/reverse and the led light is bright. The only drawback was one of the pull chains was broken. It was an easy fix though we took the old chain off of previous fan and used the connector piece to reattach.

Decent fan... for the money.
Since this fan should be delivered to your home for under $100... I give it 4 stars; had I paid much more for it, I would have to drop it to three stars.Pros: For a fan, this small... it does move a ton of air. The materials (esp blades and mounts) are a little cheap feeling/looking, but it still looks great from a distance. Turned off, the fan looks great.Cons: I cannot get this fan balanced... I've given up and just accept that there will be a small amount of shake to it when the blades are moving. As others have mentioned... for me, the lights are way too dim. I've got it in a fairly small room with no natural light and well have to add a lamp to the room. Lastly, this is just the OCD in me... but when you turn the fan off, it is always a little crooked and has to be centered.Overall... good looks and you could do a lot worse for an inexpensive fan.

Perfect for Walk in Closet
We purchased this ceiling fan for use in our Walk in Closet which is mid-size (U-Shaped).We needed a very small ceiling fan with light no more than 24" width on the blades and the lowest height from the ceiling to the bottom of the light. Our existing light is very close to the wall (allowing very little room width or height wise). We considered moving the existing light to the center of the closet o be able to buy a wider blade fan, but didn't want to pay an electrician combined with tearing up sheetrock, etc.We live on the island of Maui in the state of Hawaii and it gets very warm and humid here, it was like a sweat house in the closet prior to getting this fan... we'd grab what we needed and would get out of the closet. My husband said the assembly and installation was fairly easy given the small size of the fan and parts.Given the top of our closet door is 11" from the ceiling (we have 9' doors in our home), my husband had to cut off 3.5"+ from the down shaft in order for the bottom of the light to clear the top of the door and to drill 2-holes in order to install. This worked perfect to get this fan installed and we now have a little breeze going on in what was previously a very warm closet. We had an existing wall switch that turned on the light, so when he installed the fan he connected things so that when we flip the switch it turns on both the fan and light (there is no remote with this fan). This fan does come with independent chains for both the light and fan so you can turn on/off either based on your need. Most comments stated this fan puts out a lot of air/wind, and we tend to disagree. On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being the best), I'd say I puts out around 5.5 at most, but for us (for now), it meets our need.

Looking forward to purchasing a few more.
I needed a fan to fit between my tapered ceiling. The room is over the garage and gets very hot so some form of circulation was necessary. After purchasing is fan I'm very pleased with it. Because of the tapered ceiling I run the fan in winter mode, this grabs the cold air from the registers around it and sends it flowing down both sides of the tapered ceiling. It cools the walls down and helps stop the heat from building up.The fan does wiggle a little bit when it's on but most ceiling fans do. Installation was pretty easy but I do recommend a more sturdy ceiling-fan bar when installing. It will help reduce wobble and vibrations. I replace the small candelabra bulbs with some GE LED g16 dimmables, they fit perfectly.

great little fan
Overall it's a nice fan. We purchased to put in my son's smaller bedroom. It does not come with a remote but has two metal ball strings to control the light and fan speed. Secures nicely to the ceiling. However there is tipping when you pull the string. We took it down and tried to figure out why. The shaft sits in a mount sort of like a ball joint with no securing screws. Hold on to the other string while changing speed or light. Again, overall nice little fan but the manufacturer could've improved the design.

Quiet
I sleep very well with this fan being so quiet and delivers perfect amount of air. I had to up my thermostat a/c a bit because I was too cold! 🤑 That may change as summertime progresses. My light puts out plenty light and doesn't overwhelm the bedroom with a huge presence. I've had small fans before, but never as stylish as this one as it hugs the ceiling. I'm happy enough to buy another for the guest room.UPDATE: It’s been over a year now and I’m still happy with my fan, enough that I’m ready to change out the guest room fan. Seriously looked at Hunter but had such great success with this one, I’m getting another. My Installer is always my teen grandson. He says it was easy last time.

Great for small spaces
Great little fan for a small space. We use it in our son's bedroom. He likes to have a fan on for sleeping but his room is too small for a floor fan. For that reason, this ceiling fan saved him some valuable space in his room. Because of its compact size it is also very quick and easy to clean. I find the light bulbs included are too dim, but he doesn't mind that, so we left it. PS - We did end up changing the bulbs as the ones included started flickering. We ordered these ones off Amazon and they're working great: Westinghouse 4513100 60-Watt Equivalent G16-1/2 Dimmable Soft White LED Light Bulb with Candelabra Base

Good looking fan with bright lights
It is actually a nice looking fan. It is working great, and you can get some serious fan blade speed. The fan motor has 3 speeds, and I have generally kept the unit on the lowest speed.Application - The fan is installed at the top of my stairs to assist with heating the upstairs. It has done a good job in bringing up hot air from the main level (wood stove). The upstairs is 3°C warmer now than previously. I know that may not sound like much, but it is a noticeable differnce in air temperature.I am please with my purchase.4-stars becuase I only installed this unit Oct 1, 2017. I can not speak to it's longevity yet.

I needed a small diameter for a downstairs landing. It's compact enough, quiet, and has three speeds. The only drawback is no remote for it so pull chains for the light and the fan.
