HanesMen's Sport X-temp Performance Boxer Brief 4-pack

These briefs are very comfortable, lightweight and airy, a good find.

I compared this to a pair of new balance sport briefs (cheaper) and under armor boxerjocks (more expensive) with similar construction. These Hanes are very similar to the Under armor and has less pieces of material and therefore fewer stitching lines. Stitching was high quality in all three. The under armor band does seem slightly thicker and may be more durable because of it...time ill tell. Ive had the UA for several years and they are extremely durable. These Hanes are just as comfy, are 40% cheaper than UA and may be just as durable. Fitment is spot on. If in between, i would size up.

Bought this a few years ago and liked them so much but couldn't find them again until I searched Amazon. I bought two types and this was the one! Plan to buy several now just in case I can't find them again. Morning beats the best pare of comfortable long lasting underwear.

OK, so they feel cool to the touch and are thin and light so you would expect them to be cool... Not so much. I found these don't breathe well and they do not absorb sweat so you get sweaty. Cotton actually is cooler in my opinion and absorbs sweat. Full disclosure - I do wear a light old-man "incontinence pad" so that will add to the heat and may affect my experience but as I say the cotton briefs are still less sweaty even with the pad. Ironically, I 'd be inclined to wear these more in the winter. On the up side they look kinda groovy.
