Nice hiking boots and also work for yard work. Fit to size. They were a little tight until I wore 4-5 times. Would buy again.

I work in a barn with horses and other animals. I am a riding instructor and am always on my feet. My fit bit shows that I average 17,000 steps per day( I have walked over 35,000 in a day), and my feet feel great wearing my Ariat Terrains. These have to be the most comfortable boots I own. Also, they are 100% waterproof. Walking in the morning dew, mud, rain or snow, I have never had wet socks. And the leather is strong, and has held up to all the barn chores, as well as being stepped on by occasionally by a horse.

I have a very wide foot and have trouble finding shoes/boots that fit comfortably. These were a welcome surprise. Lots of room and very comfortable out of the box. I have had the boot for 2 weeks wear them for work everyday and am very pleased and would recommend them.

I got the 11.5 Wide. The 12W was too long and too wide. Easy to swap for 11.5. The 11.5 is slightly long, not perfect, but the width is perfect. Using orthotics, it is a decent fit, comfortable for walking around in and great for putting in a stirrup. It's a good non-slip sole without large Vibram ridges which I didn't want, but with a reasonable heel. So, it is exactly what it appears to be: a good boot for riding, yet comfortable for walking around, too, climbing on rocks, and waterproof near the sole, for walking in mud. Seems to be a good, honest boot. I have an Ariat cowboy type riding boot, with a square toe, which I also like. that runs a little smaller, so it's interesting to note there is a different last, and I take a half size larger (12W).

Have purchased Ariat cowboy and hiking boots before and they fit better than any other brand I've tried. Quality materials and construction make wearing these boots all day a very comfortable experience. If you have arch problems try Ariat

The pictures tell the entire story, at only three !! THREE !!! months old.Take a good look, the eyelets came out and the leather is just ripping across. There is no excuse for this, not at the price being charged.This is a rip off !!!!!!!! Literally !!!!!!!!!!

Comfortable, fits perfectly, good support, looks great. What more can I ask of a boot or shoe?
