TRIGGERS/SHOULDER BUTTONS First of all I bought this because BOTH of my L2 and R2 triggers had a broken peg and one of the springs was broken as well causing the triggers to be wobbly and unresponsive. As far as this problem went this was a perfect fix and while I had to break out the mold line remover to clean up some of the mold lines on the triggers that was a minor issue. I swapped the shoulder buttons as well and both worked without issue. (Note that I believe I am using a gen1 ps4 controller but my sticker with the model and serial number was too worn to read.) SILICONE PADS I went ahead and replaced some of my silicone pads as well as they were all old and initially was happy but found that the silicone pad for the triggers didn't respond properly when pressed but fortunately my old ones worked well enough. All of the rest of the pads I swapped out though worked great! SCREWS If you are buying this to replace missing or stripped screws I would (at least for the gen1 model) advise against it as the threads on the ones this come with are ever so slightly too large and made me nervous with how much force I was having to use to get them in so just ended up using the old ones. Definitely wouldn't trust them to replace the one screw inside that holds the board in place. Overall I'm happy with my purchase as it solved the issue I needed it to but your mileage may very depending on your personal needs. The images all seem to be accurate based on my purchase so I suggest you take a close look and make sure they are what you need for your specific controller.

I bought this to replace a worn out R2 Trigger pad. What I got was a improperly molded pad. As you can see in the picture, the NEW pad (The Clean one obviously) Is molded so that the contact pad is Deep inside the housing while the original pads are much higher. I tested the pad in my controller and my suspicions were correct, they never make contact with the button and do not register as a button press. The reason I give this kit a 2 and not a 1 is because the REST of the pieces do appear to be cheaply made but properly sized.

This replacement didn't last at all.
