Love this scale. Used to control portion sizes and to make the right amount of food. Who knew how much 200 grams were of beans. This unit measures ounces, pounds, grams etc. Even better it can subtract the weight of a container as you pour items into a bowl on the scale. How cool is that. We've been using this for months and it has been extremely helpful to managing meat portions, pasta portions, vegetable portions. Easy to use and reliable. Buy it and enjoy it.

Based on the reviews and rating, We considered this product over others based on the balance between cost and features. Took the leap and ordered two; one for our very busy kitchen and one for keeping track of bird weights in a bird rescue.Everything about the scale has exceeded our expectations. The design allows for easy reading of the brightly back lit display, even with larger bowls on the scale, and the flush display/buttons/scale plate help make cleaning and sanitizing effortless.Initially, for the price, feared the scale plate would be plastic (like many in the same price range) but this has a stainless steel scale plate; something we feel is important for all kitchen equipment. Again, cleans easily and seems pretty durable.As we have a bakery background, the one item we wish it had was grams display to the 10th of a gram as the difference between 1 and 1.5 grams of dry yeast can be a game changer. :-)The included silpat is a very nice touch although the guides on the layout are small and not necessarily sure that it is truly very effective for a home baker trying to roll out a crust for standard pans but it is a nice silpat.

I got this scale to assist my children in performing their graded science activity assignments. I like that we can change the units of measure with ease and that there's a mode that will calculate any gain or loss of mass. This scale is easy for the children to work with and is very accurate.

So, how can I tell if it's accurate? I suppose I could buy a pound of something from the deli and then weigh it on this little scale but who knows. Easy to use for sure. Turn it on and weigh something. I was disappointed that I had to run to the store to get batteries but that's a minor issue. I like that the top is large enough to hold things. I hate to clean things so I put a coffee filter on the top. You logged on for a review and got a helpful kitchen hint.

Since I wrote a very bad review on the last scale I purchased here, I wanted to tell everyone just how great this scale is in comparison. I love it. It does exactly what I though a scale should do. It turns on right away, you can change the weight to ounces, pounds, grams, etc., and also you can zero out the weight of a bowl or dish and then add your contents to weigh. I still put it away in a drawer when not using but I use it quite frequently now. Great scale for a great price. Thanks

I count macros regularly and purchased this food scale to keep in my office at work. Quite often, I enjoy a 3 PM snack and having a food scale at work can help me stay within my macros - especially on foods that add up quick! (like the oatmeal pictured)The display has a bright blue background with dark numbering which makes it extremely easy to read. The buttons to toggle between the different units and "zero-ing" the scale are easy to press. You actually have to push these buttons down and it will make a click sound. Nothing annoying, rather old-school but actually really handy. My food scale at home has a lighter touch to press style button and it can be more tricky to use. I much prefer this style.The buttons also have a smooth surface covering over them so that no crumbs, gunk, or grime will get stuck in the small spaces around them (a problem I had with an old food scale).This is a great product! Totally serves it purpose. It might even replace my food scale at home...

I have gone on a diet since gaining weight during Covid...ugh!This scale had such great reviews (and now I am giving it a great review) I decided to give it a try.Not only is it very pretty, it is very accurate. The stainless steel part is a nice size that you can place a large item on it, press 'TARE" and it will set the scale to '0' so you can weigh only what you add to the item such as plate, measuring cup etc. to it.I never did any kind of "portion measuring" until now and I never realized that my idea of '1 portion' was not necessarily '1 portion'.....now, I weigh and measure everything I eat and have started to lose weight pretty fast!

Last less then 2 months. Broken. Contacted company who says “lifetime warranty”. Given the run around. Out 30 dollars. Don’t waste your money.
