Maus I & II Paperback Box Set

With so many people dismissing the Holocaust, this should be read by doubters now! Even folks who heard of the Holocaust but did not live either here or there during it.

I did purchase Maus 1&2 from a Canadian online bookstore , Indigo.com and did read it …. I understand completely why it was the only Graphic novel to receive a Pulitzer. , it was a perfect account of one man’s journey through the hell of holocaust , The artwork is astounding and it is written in a format that is easy for everyone to understand , I was so astounded I read it twice !!

I lent my first set to… yes, who was it? OK had to order this excellent set again, I read it once a year and every time amazed of the original storytelling Art employs. I know/knew many elderly survivors - all with their particular behaviour, Art’s father is all too familiar to me.

This product was marked as in English. Literally said that somewhere on the list in page. Turns out in Spanish. And the seller knows it don’t let them fool you

Good graphic comic to explain dictatorship using cats and mice in place of humans.

Very, very powerful and personal at the same time. Ignorant efforts to ban or suppress this important book have only resulted in more people finding their way to it and being moved by it. This can only be seen as ultimately a good thing. Unintended results.

I very like that it is in II parts & box set.

I enjoyed this book indirectly because of my daughter who was in high school I had never read a graphic novel until she decided to bring home volume 1 I sat down and read it in one sitting and she bought home volume 2 it took me a little longer to read volume two. It was so riveting, powerful and personal I had to buy my own copy and still read it at least 3 or 4 times a year

Well made feels good in my hands solid graphic presentation and the story is unforgettable

Una grande opera, che credo e spero non verrà mai dimenticata, se non altro per il suo valore storiografico ed educativo.Quello che la rende unica é il fatto che l'autore sia il figlio di due ebrei realmente internati ad Auschwitz, e sopravvissuti fino alla liberazione ed alla fine della guerra.Graphic novel in cui si legge molto e l'inglese in cui é scritto a volte é abbastanza colloquiale.Edizione magnifica, che gode oltre del cofanetto esterno, anche dei due volumi in cui la storia era originariamente stata pubblicata.
