Exactly what I needed
These mason jars are perfect. I’ve used them for storing spices in the kitchen. The size is just right — not too bulky, but they hold a good amount. The lids seal really well, and the glass feels nice and sturdy.I also really appreciated the chalkboard labels that came with them — such a simple touch, but it made organizing so much easier (and cuter!). Definitely worth the buy, and I’ll be getting more for sure.

Great Quality, So Many Uses
Great solid jars. I can think of a billion uses for them. The lids are one piece and they seal tight. The glass is thick and of good quality. The size of the jars are perfect for my needs.

perfect small storage vessels
The Rainforce 8oz jars are perfect storage containers for foods or other items. The word "Mason" in the product name is a bit misleading as it infers using them for canning fruits, preserves, etc. I purchased the set of 30 jars as vessels for homemade spiced pecans, cranberry sauce and other foods as gifts for the holidays--not to be stored for long in a pantry, but to be consumed. I don't know how air-tight they are, but they do have a small seal embedded in the lids so nuts or spices can probably be stored for a few weeks without getting stale. As for cranberry sauce or other perishable treats, I ask the recipients to store them in the refrigerator. Two thumbs up, also, on the packaging! They arrive in a cardboard box with two 15-jar foam layers with circular wells in which each jar is tightly stuffed. No breakage, plus one can easily imagine other uses for the foam layers-with-wells.
