Very sturdy and attractive. Small enough to roll under chair opening of desk area when not in use. Great for clearing desktop and organizing files.

A bit pricy, but worth it. Very well made and strong. Rolls easily fully loaded. Double bar frame keeps your file folders stable. File folders slide easily on the frame. Assembly is required, have a pair of gloves handy.

This is a thoroughly modern design able to produce a very solid owner-constructed cart. The four vertical posts and the wire components are steel. There are eight cunning two-part plastic collars that snug up the connections at the corners, like circular wedges. The casters seem suspiciously lightweight but work well. A small wrench is included, and is just right for tightening the casters.One should spend some time leveling the bottom of the cart as the posts are being firmly inserted into the bottom tray. I used a plastic-faced hammer to get everything even. After that, the top and the casters go on with no trouble to produce a smooth-rolling cart.I am in awe of this cart's design. I expect it will give many years of good service.P.S. The "caps" that one review complained were too easily knocked off are actually packing spacers and should be discarded. Do pay attention to fitting the collars skinny-side up into the wide ends of the tubular post receivers.

After reading the one and two star ratings, I was concerned, but I have a secret:. I've put hundreds of these pole/shelf units together from 10' to this one.Mine, too, looked like it had been opened and taped back together. But everything was there and in good shape.Keep in mind, the hole in the shelf and the sleeves/brackets are tapered. There is a definite up/down. The smaller side is up.The wheels are larger than I expected and screw into the insert which was already in my poles. It screws in about 5/8". Two of the wheels are locking, so those of you with wheel problems might check that.Put half of the sleeve on the pole and slowly slide up or down and you will feel and hear it click when mated on the pole. Then put the second piece of the sleeve on. These are adjustable about every 1".Mine is not flimsy in the least. Keep in mind that wheels, sleeves, and wheel/pole inserts are available at any hardware store. No need to do without any function should something break.

Just what I wanted. Fast ship. Lightweight. Fit into tiny house living. Wheels run smooth. Easy to put together. Very efficient and adorable sitting under my desk. I put a small wicker basket on the lower shelf to hold blank paper and staple gun. Met every need I had. Only critique is that the plugs on top did not stay snapped on but a little contact cement solved the problem. Perfect portable file cart in every way!

This is a just-oh-of-the-box review. Assembly is straightforward, although the instructions are not especially clear. When finished the cart is very sturdy. I can't give it 5 stars because of the annoyance that the wheels don't consistently swivel (though they are designed to) as you move the cart about.I had originally bought an Elfa File Cart from The Container Store, It had two sliding drawers and was a little larger, but at $100 it was twice the cost of thiis product. I returned the Elfa product and was more than happy to pocket the $50 I saved.

Got this for my daughter, she is currently Zoom-schooling. It's doing a great job of keeping her school work organized and she's able to wheel it all around the house. She can have gym class in the living room, science in the kitchen, math in the office and the cart goes right along with her so nothing gets lost. Stores nicely under her desk when the school day is over. Very happy with this purchase.

Did not take up much space. Made things neater. Rolls so it’s easier to get out of the way. very convenient.

A useful small trolley for your most frequently used files. Others I looked at are much too big for a home office. To be clear, it works only with FOOLSCAP hanging dividers in the U.K. A4 dividers are too big.Easy to assemble, make sure the pairs of plastic sleeves locate in a grove in the vertical legs. Then, before you attach the castors, use a soft faced hammer (or a normal one with a block of wood to protect the finish) to tighten each joint by gently tapping the shelves down at each corner. Do a little first at each corner to get the thing square so that it sits on the floor without wobbling. Then attach the wheels. You’ll find it perfectly rigid enough for the intended purpose.

It is was a bit hard to assemble but I love it!

I bought this item to save on the workload in my study. It is close at hand, easily transportable and looks exceptionally smart. No more paper strewn on my desk, everywhere as neat as a pin. Worth every penny!

Si comme moi vous vous êtes fait prendre en achetant des dossiers suspendus d'entraxe 38/39 vendus pour des A4, alors ce petit chariot est tout à fait adapté. Il contient facilement une trentaine de dossiers suspendus de ce type (Foolscap) dans le sens de la longueur, la largeur étant également inadaptée aux A4.Je l'ai eu pour moins de 50€, ce qui avoisine le prix aux USA, correct. (plus cher, cela me paraît injustifié.)Assez facile à monter, malgré une notice plus que sommaire.En résumé, correct et adapté à un format exotique.
