Accent Control: Accent Patterns for Technique and Solo Development

My son's drum instructor insisted on this book. He studied music at Berkley School of Music. The cover is durable and I particularly like the plastic ringed binding which allows the book to lie flat on the music stand. The book was copyrighted in 2001 so it looks more modern than some of the drum books I've purchased. The pages are all black and white, except for the cover, and has few words or instruction. Its basically page after page of rudiments in different configurations with accents to practice Accent Control. This book was one of three that were required by his instructor.

Great book with great exercises

This is a very straight forward and useful book. If you want to work on accents within a steady stream of 8ths, 16ths or triplets, this book will be very beneficial.
