My cats like this toy, but the minute I turn my back, one of them starts trying to chew and swallow the toy. The toys without wire legs usually can be thrown back up, but there is one that requires me to take my baby to the emergency room for b/c it got stuck in his esophagus. SO BEWARE, it’s an amazing toy, just make sure you put the toy away and take the toy off the wand as soon as you stop using it b/c otherwise it’s like fishing for cats. SCARY.

Bought for our new kitten. We know he’s going to love it. We have tried a lot of their fur and feather toys and our former cat absolutely went crazy over them. The feather ones aren’t sturdy but that’s to be expected, they’re feathers... we just order new ones when they wear out.I was glad to see they now let you choose the color on the butterfly.My only complaint is shipping, I wish they would combine shipping if you order several at once. It adds up and has kept me from buying more than one or two at a time.Otherwise, great product, safe and our cat loved them more than any other toys out there. Just be sure to always supervise play with these wand toys. They are delicate. Highly recommend.

One of my cats love the toys made like this, which the natural hairs and likes to chew, if I don't pay attention. This is what makes the tied toys come apart faster and I don't want them ingesting the fibers, so I put them in a drawer when we're not playing. I didn't like the way the eyes were barely attached, so I removed them, so kitty doesn't swallow them. I love the way it looks like a little bird when it's moving around and will be getting a few more to keep on hand for when this one wears out. None of these are long lasting, but they are definitely the best of the cat toys I've found over the years. My cat knows when a new one is here and hardly lets me open the package. All the natural hair tied toys seem to disintegrate fast. Something about the smell of the hairs that makes kitty love it. I'll still buy them but wish there was a better way to make them. No need for eyes and glue....kitty doesn't need eyes on a toy

My 3 cats love this toy! They are so intrigued by the coarse material used on the body of the bird! I used this toy on the da bird wand, and they all went crazy over it during play time! They also like to play hide and seek with it it off the wand! The only negative are the dainty feathers that fall off almost immediately after the first use! It is also on the smaller side, which is usually what my cats prefer, but after a few days off the wand the bird was lost! (UPDATE) 3 months later - One of my cats likes to drop this birdie in her water dish at night, the next morning the water was completely dyed yellow, definitely a concern, being that my poor kitty's were drinking the contaminated water throughout the night! Whatever they are using to color these toys seems completely unsafe, my kitty's love to chew and carry these toys around in their mouth all the time! It really makes me think they may be injesting harmful toxins and dyes all the time!

My cats prefer Katfly toys over all others. The toys are small and lightweight enabling the cat to carry them about. They move more likely real prey and I can really wip them around.This particular toy looks just like a gold finch bird. It’s pretty well made too because I forgot it was out and she chewed on it and wasn’t able to destroy it. Please don’t do that! I had it on a string and she ate the string and had to bring her to the vet.Great toy company and awesome fake bird. Would love to see more birds like this in different colors.

These are the BEST toys! I can never find cat toys that are on the smaller side, it seems like all cat toys are really big, and the larger toys don't interest my cat at all. She prefers the smaller toys that more closely resemble the size of real prey that she would hunt. These toys are PERFECT. They have a really sturdy loop at the top so you can attach them to the "Da Bird" wands, and use them that way, which is great. My cat also loves to just bat them around on her own. They are by far her favorite toys, and I have a rediculous amount of cat toys, believe me. Awesome product, I always have one handy.

My cat is very fussy about what is on the end of a teaser wand. He finds this one irresistable.

This is an excellent cat toy according to my 9 month old kitten! She loves this toy! Every morning all she wants is to play with this toy! She did rip the wings off within 4 weeks so I bought a new one because it’s awesome!
