My only complaint is that the Wolf knob may look like stainless steel but is made of plastic! This is the second time I've had to replace the knob.

Worked for GE Range Hood Controls
This control knob is a close match for thr original plastic knobs that came on my GE 447F1WS vent hood. These have the inside metal spring clip and are less likely to break. This knob by Romalon fits, but doesn't seat quite as deep onto the shaft of the control switch, but I went with it because the price was excellent compared with $35 to $40 the OEM and national parts houses were asking.

Exactly like the high quality Wolf knob that broke after 6 years.

Potentially dangerous
At first I loved them. Looked nice and functional. After about 2 months they began to fall off when you turned them. I decided to write this review after cooking bacon one morning. I turned the knob for the vent fan and it fell off into the bacon pan, splashing hot grease all over my face. Pissed me off and hurt.
