Geigerrig RIG 710 (Black) Hydration Pack

I tried and returned several Geigerrig bags in my search for something which suited me. The bladder / pump system is outstanding in all of them, as is the quality of the materials used to make the bag: solid fabric, strong zippers, etc.Unfortunately, with the exception of the '1600 Tactical' {which cost a pretty penny} every bag I tried failed at satchel ergonomics. Pockets wouldn't open deep enough to be packed / unpacked effectively {*major* annoyance}, pockets were oddly shaped, exterior of bag has 'quirky' pockets which are oddly sized, not very secure, but would collect gunk like it was their job.Strange that they can be so good ad technical design, and so bad at bag design.Still, design is subjective to some extent, so maybe others will like them. If so, they'll get a great bag because, to reiterate, they are made extremely well from a durability standpoint.Oh, yeah, and that pressurized bladder thing is frikkin luxurious.

Great product. Very well built. The capacity is much less than stated once filled with water and the bladder is fully inflated.

I purchased my 710 in June of 2013 and have used it almost daily! It is my commute bag, my hiking day pack and my man bag. I love this pack. On work days I only have a liter or less water and keep it unpressurized unless I need to share or wash my hands. This allows me to keep my plastic lunch containers and my other things in the bag with no problems. For day hike, like Angels Landing in Zion's (Awesome!!!), I filled my 2liter bladder, snacks sunscreen, pocket knife, etc. all it with room to spare. It could have held my point and shoot but I wanted it out ready to take plenty of pictures. When I am out doing my honey-do's for my fabulous wife, the 710 holds all the things I need, wallet, iPad, shopping list, and water for the kids if I have them with me.When I was in Zion's it rained on us! No worries for me because I had a light jacket and the rain cover for my bag. My friends were jealous!GEIGERRIG is the best hydration pack and system ever!!!! My 710 is my personal favorite of the many GEIGERRIG's I own.

By far the best hydration pack I have ever used! The pump system makes drinking so much better!
