Deer Antler Beads/Slices (Crafts, Jewelry Making, Beading Supplies) (Medium)

I am redoing my bedroom in Native American and went looking for some antler slices to use on my deerskin window valances I had created. This fit the bill perfectly! I ordered the Xtra Large and received them the next day. Drilled a couple of holes in them and beaded them with authentic hair pipe beads and glass beads to match my comforter and voila! The perfect accent!You will definitely be my source for antler pieces.

About half the bag is unusable. Half of these buttons are practically transparent through the middle with super thin, extremely porous marrow. I could see the light i was holding them up to nice and bright. how am I supposed to put holes in that and trust it as a button? The other half is fine but you definitely need to pick them out and throw away the others

The deer antler slices are very pretty I just wish they were more thinly sliced than what they were for the projects I’m using them for I was able to find two good pairs.

I really like these but wish you could buy more for a little cheaper. Some of them already had holes in them and for me that's ok since I will be making buttons out of most of them. I like that there are a variety and they are very pretty. Again my only real issue is the price for the amount. Other than that I would highly recommend.

I have created many pieces of beautiful jewelry with these. Your imagination will take you to all kinds of projects with these.

The antler slices look awesome! Perfect size for wire wrapping, even. My only concern is that some of them look a bit like they might hollow out over time. Resin or some type of seal over top should help with that.

Most of the "large" I got are the size of a quarter not larger. I think size might vary as some people in the reviews got very large pieces. Unfortunately, maybe two out of the ones sent might work for my project.

Overall these antler buttons were good. Size were adequate to work with.
