Decent quality with a good transfer rate
I was hoping this cable would work with my scanner being as my original cable has started to lose the connection every few seconds and this one does fit and works well.The cable also works with one of my printers, so I'm very pleased with that.The cable is of a good thickness and is a decent quality, as well as supplying a good transfer rate. The length is generous too and I think for the price it's a good buy.

Does The Job
Does just what its supposed to do. We use ours to connect our laptops to our printer. Saves faffing about with the wi-Fi which invariably goes down just as I'm printing something. The cable appears well made and sturdy enough for typical domestic use. And for the money is good value too. Really can't find anything of fault with it.

Does everything you need
I got the 1.8m version which is a good length for me as I am using to connect a line 6 floor pedal to a laptop for transfer of patches. I also tried on a midi keyboard. It works just like it should. This is a simple usb A - B cable - but with added shielding plus anti interference ring. You could use it for your printer - but is is rather over specified for that. It is modestly priced and seems well made.

Works great with piano keyboard and printers
This MIDI to USB 2.0 cable worked with my printer connected to a MacBook, and a Casio piano keyboard with an iPad and iPhone. No drivers were needed and the cable is of a generous length. The packaging states it has a data transfer rate if up to 280 Mbps. I’ve had no problems with performance using this cable with various apps connected to my piano keyboard.

USB A to USB B Cable
To be honest this is sold as a MIDI cable, but it's a basic USB A to USB B cable - you could use it to connect a printer to a PC, or you could use it to connect a USB A MIDI device to a laptop. I've tried it with both, connected a HP OfficeJet to a PC and a CASIO Electric Piano to a laptop. Works perfectly well for both. DON'T buy if you have a MIDI device that needs a 5 PIN DIN plug, there are other things for that (it's mentioned in the description, but it's only for modern MIDI devices - I have an old Yamaha Electric Piano that has a 5 PIN MIDI interface).Overall it's a perfectly acceptable cable of it's type.
