The SR22 loader only works with older generation magazines
The McFadden loaders are outstanding. I am only putting a 1 star review here because for this specific model (The SR22 Adapter) Ruger has recently changed the design of the magazine causing this adapter not to work.The SR22 loader WILL work for the older generation magazines, but since Ruger hasn't changed the part number, it's hard to determine if you have an old or new mag.The attached picture may assist to tell if you have the old vs new magazine. You can buy the old version mags on eBay if you really hate hand loading.The McFadden people were very responsive when the loader didn't work. They compared my magazine with the original ones they designed their loader around and identified this issue. Great company.

Look elsewhere!
This is junk. The plastic isn't cut out evenly so the rounds don't load using the auto-loader. Not worth it even if it was free.

Best 22 loader ever
Works awesome! Best speed loader ever. McFadden makes most 22lr adapters for the speed loader.. I have a few guns I wish they made them for but most of my 22s they already make a adapter for.
