Jade

After some of the glowing reviews I read on this book I don't know what I expected but Yikes this is awful. I made it through 9 chapters before I decided that this was as good as it was going to get and put it down. This book is supposed to be set in the last 1800's and the things this author has these characters doing is just totally unbelievable to me. I'm certainly no historian but I seriously doubt in that time period that if a man who was almost a complete stranger started messing with the breasts of a young woman with no sexual experience that her reaction would only be confusion This book reads more like some teenage male's fantasy of how women should be and does women absolutely no favors in it.. Good grief. One part of the book deals with horses and their training and that is equally unbelievable. I've owned horses and been around them most of my life and know there is a huge difference between domestic horses and mustangs.. I guess I should be happy I only paid 2.99 for it on my Kindle but I still feel like I was ripped off.

For some reason to me it seemed kind of boring up to approximately page 265. Then it started getting more interesting. The story was a decedent one, however there was not that much interaction between Jade and Kane. I did not think this story was as great as other people thought it was. It's not horrible either. I just did not find it the quick read I usually do her other books. Therefore it was easy to get distracted sometimes by other things when I was reading the book.

The book was very good. But like the other books by this author,the hero/heroine seem to quarrell the whole book,fighting their attraction until the last chapter. This got old after reading the fourth book. Plus the prices shot up triple in price. Will not be buying or reading any more oof author's books. Some people may enjoy the style of writing ,but not me.

This was one of the first books that I read by Norah Hess over a decade ago. I enjoyed it so much that I read it a couple of times and then loaned it to a friend. Unfortunately, the book was never returned to me. I've searched for this title over the years and never found it in any of my local stores. Until a few days ago I decided to go ahead and buy the Kindle version. I am very glad I did, it is the same great love story that I remembered all those years ago. I enjoy romances were the characters don't like one another at first. This book more than fulfilled that criteria. It was a pleasurable read. As always Norah Hess delivers a wonderful escape within the pages of Jade.

I read Storm first and loved the book. This story was about her brother Kane. It was a wonderful story filled with love. Will read more of her books.

What can I say, another great read. Norah Hess is a fantastic writer. That is all you need to say. The story flows along with just the right amount of humour, intrigue and laughter. I thoroughly recommend this book.

I enjoy Nora Hess books there is always a strong male Hero and lots of hot romance.

I wish she would write some more books. I love her writing!!!!!!

Well, I didn't think this book was going to amount to much. It started off slow, and I thought I would be bored after a few chapters. I was wrong, it improved and it turned out to be quite enjoyable, a good plot and for once a decent length. Makes a nice change.
