Please read this to your children, so they know they have hidden potential.
I wish they had had this book when I was a child. I might have completed my dream of being a surgeon. Instead, I had people tell me I’d never be able to practice because I was a girl.I love how it focuses on our gifts and expanding those gifts into a career we love.

A great introduction to careers for primary students!
I really enjoyed this book as a fun introduction to career exploration for even littlest learners. The rhyming pattern is engaging and playful, and despite being a simple book, it includes a lot of career options! There's an emphasis on not just college-oriented careers, but also trade school and "create your own way," which I think is so important. It describes students' skills as their unique gifts that lend themselves well to different types of careers, and I appreciate the strengths-based approach. You can even explore character traits or values as they relate to future careers, using this book as your launch point! This is a great addition to any classroom where you're required to introduce career skills at a young age.

The Book We All Need in Our Library
This book is incredibly inspirational and helps little ones know that there is "no dream too tall." I love the inspiration that this book provides as well as the comfort to each child by letting them know that the future is in their hands.

Great SEL book with diverse and inclusive illustrations
There’s No Dream Too Tall is a perfect book to encourage kids to dream big as we begin the new year!I love the simple rhyming text. I love how it spins potentially “negative” character traits into successful careers. I love the inclusive and stereotype-busting choices made in the illustrations (for example, a Black woman chef, a male nurse, and a female truck driver, just to name a few). And I love the way it opens the conversation to more than just going to college (because the fact of the matter is, that just isn’t the path for everyone, despite the narrative so many are fed). And I love that it makes it OK not to have a dream yet!

Dream big with this encouraging story!
There's No Dream Too Tall seems like the perfect read for the new year. It's a story that encourages kids to believe in themselves! It reminds them that there is no one right path, and they have a world of possibilities in front of them. I love the representation in this one. There are many beautiful illustrations of male and female workers, no matter the occupation. I also just adore the ending. Some children might not have any idea of what they want to be when they grow up, but the last line of this story will certainly leave them feeling encouraged!

An inspirational rhyming picture book
This book is for any child to motivate him or her for great careers in their future. It is beautifully illustrated and the rhyming cadence ads whimsy to this charming tale of inspiration. The career possibilities go beyond the typical teacher, nurse, lawyer, or architect to include such professions as truck driver, firefighter, builder, or landscaper. The much overlooked career tract for trade school is also shared. This book encourages children to use their gifts and share them to help them decide where their paths will take them. "You don't quit, and you're bossy. Don't argue," they say. But maybe you'll make a great lawyer some day!" Some lessons are specifically spelled out in verse, but others are implied in the illustrations of a child helping someone who is hurt or tutoring other students. The crowning glory to this book is the dedication page at the end. You can write a wonderful, personal message to the recipient following the statement "I Believe in You..." A wonderful book for children and adults alike.
