You have a calibrate it yourself...never has worked right. Threw it away!

Quick shipping and very large dial makes it easy to read at a distance. Absolutely pleased.

If you want a general idea of how hot it is - within 10 degrees or so - then this is for you. It only shows numbers every 20 degrees. In between, there are lines which I think mean the half way point in between the numbers. Unfortunately, these lines are not actually in the middle between the numbers. We're in the middle of a HUGE heatwave here, having broken the all time high temperature yesterday in L.A. and I got a fairly decent read on how high it was in my back yard. If I'm to believe what I read, my back yard was a bit "cooler" than the rest of the city ;)

Love how big the numbers are. Perfectly matches our decor outside. Exactly what we were looking for.

This thermometer doesn't work. I calibrated it according to the directions (multiple times) and it never moves or reads the correct temp. I would have returned it, but I just missed the return timeframe, because I had it at our part-time summer home and didn't have it installed until the last weekend. Don't buy this thermometer.

Good graphics, big face looks good. Works as intended.

Does not display accurate temp

I like the product design; however the outdoor temperature reading was not accurate. It was 90 degrees outside and the thermometer ready 110. The thermometer was placed in the shade. I moved it indoors and it was accurate.
