Morimoto 31mm Festoon XB Pure White LED Bulb

Good product, though one of 5 bulbs had a heat sink actually fall off the bulb as I was installing it. Returned to Amazon and had a replacement in six days.

Phillips xtreme were the only usable festoon bulbs but thirst can't be found anyone. The sylvannia festoon zevo bulbs are just horrible. Pepboys sell a panel that is just too bright. These are just perfect. Great output. I have owned many morimoto products without any problems so I trust this brand on my car. I only trust Phillips, sylvania and morimoto and that's all I have on my car. You get what you pay for.Update: Ones sold on amazon these days aren't the one on the photo. They are actually the new generation. I ordered some for my forester. I really liked the look of the first generation but supposedly these are better. I attached a comparison to the philips ultinon and those were already bright.

Incredibly bright. No question about that. However, they also run REALLY HOT which is a bit concerning. Within the first 10-20 seconds of putting the bulb in the fixture it becomes far too hot to even touch. I'm really not sure the heatsink on the top is adequate enough to cool the LEDs properly. Likely these bulbs won't have a long lifespan if they don't melt whatever housing they're in first. Since the bottom side of the bulb can't be seen in the picture, there are 12 SMD LEDs. Also did a small bench test and found the LEDs start conducting @ ~8V, with full brightness at 12V. There was no real difference in brightness between 12.0V and 14.4V. Calculated output power to be around 2.2W @ 14.4V (~160mA).

Worked great in my 2015 WRX the light is quite white and bright. They even seem to dim correctly with the dimming function of the car.Update: All 3 died after 2 years in the car.

Great product, bright light installed it in the rear hatch of my 2014 Toyota 4Runner Trail. Have purchased other products by Morimoto, good quality.

Fantastic bulbs!! Bought for my 2015 wrx and a friends 2016 sti the fit is perfect and super bright. Definately a good buy.

Excellent LED for map lights or dome lights. Extremely bright and a nice color temperature.
