Great quality for the price!
Not a bad beginner set, or event more intermediate drummer set, has tons of preloaded sounds and I haven’t tried to hook it up to a computer for more modules, but apparently Dinner is becoming a great contender in the e-kit market.

Solid
Solid product! Fun for a beginner or someone like me trying to get back to my roots. Assembly was not hard. Kids helped me put together. I love that it comes with everything you need. I do wish the headset can be a little louder but can’t say anything bad.

Great drum kit for the price!
I have been looking at electronic drums for awhile now, and came close to buying a used set locally. However, they were rubber heads not mesh, and I needed mesh heads if I was going to learn how to play, and not get divorced in the process. I play ukulele, and one of my first ukes that I bought was a Donner tenor. I've had it for a couple years now, and really like it. When I saw Donner had a drum kit with mesh heads, I figured why not take a chance. The set arrived well packed in a very nice box. One thing to be aware of, the box weighs 60lbs, so you might need a helper to get in in the house. Everything in the box is packed in individual labeled boxes, which was a nice tough. Instructions were very clear, and I think it took me all of an hour to get everything assembled. They include all tools needed as well. Pros: The rack is metal, and very solid. Also, both pedals are metal, which was a pleasant surprise. The mesh heads are nice, and very quite. Cymbals seem to have dual zones, and can be choked. Snare and high hat are dual zone as well, with the snare rim being, well, a snare rim hit. The drum module has the ability to add a third cymbal, although I am not sure Donner has this for sale yet. Sounds are quite good for a beginner kit. You get a total of 15 different drum kits, as well as the ability to change each drum sound to make you own custom kit. Built in metronome, and demo music. The music is 30 tracks from different genres, and is nice to drum along to. Line in jack, so you can plug your phone in, and jam away to your own tunes. Cons: The only con I can find, may not be a con at all, hence I didn't remove a star for it. Another reviewer had issues using the USB MIDI to connect to Garageband, and I had the same issue. What happens is it works fine for about 10 seconds, then completely stops. I can unplug it from the iPad, and plug it back in, and it's fine for another 10 seconds, but then stops. What I found, is that this seems to be an issue not just with these drums, but with certain keyboards as well. It seems that plugging a USB hub into the iPad/computer, and then plugging the drums/keyboard into that, fixes the problem. I have no idea why this works, but I do have a hub on order, and will update this review if it does fix the problem. Conclusion: I think this is a great kit for the money, and if you are a beginner, go ahead and get the option with the drum throne included, as you will need it. I did not mention it, but the stand folds up, so you could easily slide this behind a couch, or put in a closet when not in use.

Make a better kick.. PLEASE.
I got this drum set for Christmas so I've gotten a lot of use out of it since then- and I have a few things to say. First of all, it's a really good kit. It's very easy to understand and use so it's easy for beginners (like me), hitting the drums feels fine, if not a little bouncy due to the mesh heads. It comes with a good seat that you can adjust. The design is sleek, the whole thing is very movable and light once assembled. The one dig I have for it is the kick. JESUS CHRIST FIX IT. I don't know if it's just the one I got, but the kick is the worst thing about this. The mechanic for the foot petal is loud and annoying, pressing your foot against it leads to a whole bunch of noise that tells you EXACTLY what it is doing. The head of it is detachable?? So once when I was playing (pretty lightly, to be honest) it just fell off??? What the hell is that about? The sheer loudness of the foot petal COVERS UP THE SOUND OF THE BASS I JUST HIT. I can almost never hear the actual hitting of the electronic bass. It's just the foot petal. My brother complained about how loud it was from his room- which is pretty ironic, seeing as this entire thing is supposed to be QUIET, just... appalling. I'm glad it comes with good headphones though. BUT JUST FIX THE KICK.

Terrific Electric drum set with headphones
The answer to my grandson's dreams. He loves musical instruments and has a bedroom full. Whenever he gets any extra money he buys one for himself. But this was just perfect for a Christmas present. It was so easy to put together. He and his dad put it together during Christmas brunch. Then the whole family had to try it. IT is so neat with the headphones. You can play to your heart's content and no-one else the house can hear.

Love it.
I am in love with this drum kit. For the price, you can't beat it. I used to have a more expensive Roland V Drums kit and I prefer this one to it. The treble and bass nobs allow you to EQ the drum sounds to your liking, meaning you can make that Kick sound really low and those cymbals really splash with high end frequency. The frame seems solid. I personally love all the preloaded demo songs. Fun to just jam through them. One thing that happened pretty quickly was I broke one of the drumsticks which is not unusual for me, I like to really play hard so its like a workout. Replaced the sticks with some 5b ones and I'm back in business. Setup took me like 2 hours but I was moving at a relaxed pace watching YouTube at the same time. I've only used 7 or 8 of the kits so far. The third one is called Session and it sounded so great I just rocked that one for like an hour. I would say, set your expectation appropriately. It's not a high-end drumkit by any means but if you just want something affordable that you can enjoy jamming on, this is it. Highly recommend, it's so much fun. I will say that I am not a pro drummer at all but a musician who knows my way around a lot of instruments, so picking up the sticks and playing comes fairly easy to me. Lastly, it came quickly and had everything you need to go for it!

Easy Setup and Quiet Enough for apartment living
These were one of my daughter’s favorite Christmas gifts. She loves them. They were easy to set up, even for a teenager, and she had them going in no time. What I really appreciate is that she can play them in the living room while I’m watching TV and I can barely hear anything. She’s on them nonstop, and it doesn’t take over the whole house. They’re a great option if you want drums without the noise of a full set. Overall, they’ve been a huge hit and get used constantly.

Donner Drums Deliver.
The Donner DED-200 is a great drum kit for beginners. You have just about all the functions that you would on a regular drum kit. One thing I found out was the middle peice of the cymbals as shown in the picture above, didn't change the sound of the cymbal. Very small thing to be worried about. Also the choke function seems to work when you place your fingers in just the right spot. Now I don't know if its just me or not, I could be doing something wrong or just haven't figured it out properly. This is the first drum set I have owned. Putting it together. Now that was a small task. It took me like 2 and a half hours. Some of the directions weren't as clear to me as they probably should have been. But I'm a compleat beginner. All the drumming experience I have is off guitar hero Metallica expert plus. Thats it. I played around with it for a good while yesterday, but I didn't exactly get into the functions of the brain to much. Everything is laid out for you on what you can adjust. They tell you what its called in the book, but not a definition of the setting. I still think it's great for beginners. The price is great. The quality of the heads are great, bouncy just like a regular drum head. You can use ghost notes on the snare, and use them on the other toms if you would like. The kick is springy, I'm sure once I get alot more experience on lessons and stuff I could possibly do 16th notes on the kick by its self without a double base peddle, just not at death metal levels. The symbols, they are plastic with a rubber pad on half of them. The top half is just plastic. They won't feel like actual symbols. But all in all this kit is great quality. Did I mention on the one I bought it comes with everything you will need to get started. A throne, sticks, and the entire kit from top to bottom. Great price for a great deal.

Great product! Good price.
I bought this drumset solely for the purpose of using them for rock band 4 pro drums using a roll limitless adapter. They were quite easy to set up and I made sure to test the function of the drums through the supplied headphones and was quite impressed. Although I have never owned a drumset before, this is my first. With them being used for rock band, I had to switch around the setup and the plug ins but once I got it all figured out, they are awesome and work perfect for what I wanted them for. The tom/snare pads feel great and are very quiet. I am very satisfied with this purchase. For those using them for rock band like I am, an added feature that i discovered is that the hihat pedal functions as a double bass which is a feature that I didn't know until using but with still probably eventually go with a double kick as the feel is much different.

Buen producto
El producto viene muy bien embalado, con cada caja marcada por piezas para el fácil montaje, me llevo algo de una hora el montaje porque era la primera vez. Para mí que recién estoy empezando la veo muy bien y completa.
