We really like this book, it’s a bit advanced for a three year old, but has been great for our five year old. The layout is good, numbers one to thirty on each double page. The printing is clear and simple. The left hand page has a colouring book style picture to colour in, this is great as it disguises the fact it’s a workbook and helps break up the writing. There is also a large number with arrows and numbers to explain the correct way to construct the number, then a few larger examples to trace around.The right hand pages have lines of numbers to trace that gradually fade as they move down the page until they are left with a few blank lines to write the numbers on with no help.It’s the kind of book they can revisit time and time again, just filling in a few lines at a time and doing a bit of colouring.Use a soft pencil and just keep rubbing out and use it over and over again.For the price, a well made and decent quality book that I think was a good buy and has helped with number writing and recognition. Definitely recommended.
