Difficult Donuts 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle by Colorcraft

We just started this puzzle and it is less appealing than the Charles Wysocki puzzles we've been enjoying. Seems like a lot of attention went into the box and packaging but the pieces are weird... not easy to figure out how some of the pieces fit together. Best way to describe the difference is that my preference is regular square-like pieces and these pieces are all unusual shapes.In hindsight this truly was one of our favorite puzzling projects We were so interested in the colorful donuts that we completed the difficult donuts in a few days, It"s a real beauty.We got extra customer care as the company reached out to assure our satisfaction after our comment about some pieces too closely interlocking in incorrect places. We're very glad to have had a rare opportunity to edit our original review comments.

If you like a colorful, challenging puzzle then this is for you!!!! My family and I loved doing this puzzle. Puzzle pieces fit perfectly together! Good quality

When I ordered the puzzle I thought that it would be easier than the puzzles I had previously worked on. Simple donut shapes. But once I got into it, I realized the difficulty. The shapes are irregular, there are more than one donut with very similar coloring, and I had to keep rearranging the separate piles for the different donuts because I made bad initial assignments for which donut I thought a piece belonged to. This puzzle kept me busy for several weeks. And that's what it's all about, isn't it? Sorry I have to leave now. I have a craving for a donut. Maybe my next puzzle will be with frogs legs. I don't happen to like frogs legs.

Great puzzle - I had a ton of fun putting this together. It’s challenging with the different shades of colors, but not so challenging that you want to tear your hair out. I highly recommend this as a gift or for yourself if you’re the puzzler.

I've been craving a high-quality puzzle to occupy me for months now and finally went hunting and found this one. It wasn't as difficult as I expected - almost done after 3 netflix-and-puzzle sessions, which is somewhat expected - I was nervous attempting a 1000 piece, so I purposefully sought out one that had distinct details throughout to act as a guide when putting together. So that just means I'm ready for the more challenging puzzles now! I removed one star because my puzzle didn't come with a poster as advertised even though it came shrink-wrapped so I don't believe it was previously used (not something I cared too much about, but it's still a bummer when there's something missing). Additionally, there was a lot of puzzle dust in the box - my hands felt kind of dirty after sifting around the box for pieces.Overall though, fun was had and I'm hungry for a donut, and that's all I was looking for!

This puzzle has very challenging piece shapes. They aren't the standard where the edges of 2 pieces line up so you know they fit. Some are rounded and it sometimes takes 3 or 4 pieces to make that perfect fit. I loved it! The picture is very vibrant and there is enough variation to the different donuts that kept the puzzle moving quickly. I am a fairly quick puzzle builder and I got this one done in about a day and a half. Never was there a dreaded moment of I only have sky left.....I will search out more puzzles by this company.

During this pandemic with its restrictions, I have rediscovered the fun of having a puzzle in progress. I enjoyed this particular puzzle because it was bright and colorful. Since it was new and sealed, I wasn’t going to be disappointed by that missing 1000th piece. I also noted that the pieces had some unusual angles and curves. It kept me out of trouble for a week. For some reason, I have a strange craving for a iced donut with “jimmies” or sprinkles.

Got this for my daughter’s 12th birthday. We are having fun family time off devices together; it’s a miracle gift. Granted, it does take some coaxing, but once they start, it’s hard to stop. You go doughnut by doughnut. :-) The colors are vibrant, the pieces are small and difficult enough to hold her attention, but not so complicated that’s it’s frustrating. Great puzzle! We use a roll-up puzzle storer for when we need the table, and it works well too.
