The media could not be loaded. These lights are perfect for my classroom! They were really easy to put up and stick great even on the textured brick, as long as it was clean.They look great and the app was super easy to install and connect and has even more color options. I thought I was going to have to spend around $100 to cover my whole room but $40 and it looks awesome!I did have a couple issues, 1. a 12 in. section stopped working but after running my finger across it, it worked no problem. 2. I got 2 sets and one of the receivers wasn’t registering the green color but I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one no problem at all.

I put some under the bed so that we would have a night lite to get up and use the restroom in the middle of the night. The receptacle that I used to plug the power cord into is difficult to get to for me so I was relying on the remote to function as the on and off switch. I do not need it for any other reason. The remote does not work. I took the battery out and tested the battery and it has 3.3 volts so it's not the battery. I am also aware of the plastic tab that keeps the battery from connecting to the contacts during shipping. I removed it to no avail. Lights are nice but it is a waste of resources to send a remote that is junk.UPDATE: Hedynshine reached out after I posted this review. They sent me a replacement. I would recommend this vendor to anyone whoo needs these types of lights. I have no complaints toward a business trying to do the right thing. Thanks Hedynshine, I really appreciate you taking care of my wife and I. Order from these folks, they have excellent customer service.

The media could not be loaded. I tested them before putting them up and they were fine. Then I took up two hours of my time plus rearranging my room only for a day later to see that they are two different colors. The red isn’t even red but pink?? When I want purple or blue, it’s pink or green. I took up so much time for this. I don’t even know if I want a replacement or if I just want my money back. I really want LED lights for my room but this is just BS. And packing it up for a return is going to be a pain. If anything, I want half my money back and a new item because if the time I wasted. I’ve been trying to contact the seller but I can’t figure out how. If my paint rips with the LED lights I’m going to be PISSED.The app is bad and neither is the remote. Brightness is good. Installation was a pain but my room shape is also kind of weird so that might be why.I hope I helped you!

Great kit. This is the first time buying a LED strip and I have waited before writing this review.1) This is 2x 50ft rolls. It is not a continuous 100ft string. For me, this just means I had to put power in the middle which was no big deal. If you need 100 continuous, you will need a different kit.2) Throw away included white clips and 90 degree connectors. They are junk and will lead to nothing but problems. I struggled with a strand going dim, losing colors, and failing all together. From what I learned you probably don't even need to cut it at all. You can go around corners fairly easily. If you did cut them, Amazon has clear connectors that are a bit more expensive, but they work.3) If you do cut and splice, you get only a couple chances to get it connected. If the end becomes too mangled, you need to clip off 8" and start over. If you use the white plastic connectors you have to try and lift the pins so you have enough clearance for the tape to slide under.4) More color modes in the app than what the remote has to offer. Worth checking out. If you're trying to have it sync to the music, the speaker needs to be very close to the sensor.5) These are not individually addressable LEDs. Meaning unlike the pictures, it's impossible for the whole strip to have a rainbow effect. You can cycle though the colors, but the whole length will be one color. You won't get blue in one part, red in another, etc.6) The tape is awesome and sticks to just about anything. Mine is taped to unpainted wood. I had to reposition it a couple times and it stuck back to position. I was thinking for sure I'd have to use clips.

I ordered 6 of the battery-operated strings for use in group Halloween costumes. The costumes looked amazing! The LEDs are bright (green seems to be the brightest), there are many color choices, there's many lighting functions available (music mode and color-changing were cool), and 20 feet per string was more than enough for each costume. It was also nice that each string only used 3 AA batteries versus the 4 AAs required for other battery-operated strings.The description is misleading with regards to cutting. It says you can cut after every three LEDs—not so! The cut lines are available after every *five* LEDs, except when there is an unexpected soldered connection present instead. This frequently made it impossible to cut where I needed; instead, I'd have to double a string back on itself, then secure it with a zip tie. It was quite annoying. Also, the last section of 5 LEDs on the 15 LED strip on my husband's right leg just decided after awhile that blue wouldn't work. I don't know why, as we didn't have to cut there. We turned his costume to yellow, but it was annoying that we were were suddenly limited on color choice.It also states in the description that there's USB charging available, but I don't see how. The wire that connects the LED string to its battery pack is USB, but it doesn't come with a charging brick. There were no instructions included with each kit, so I guess you just have to guess on what kind of a brick to use/how long to leave them charging?The remotes are garbage. Of the 6 I received, only one worked consistently. The other 5 worked intermittently, or not at all. I used a remote from a different LED string most of the time, just to make sure that I could change colors, and turn power on and off when needed.Overall, these are decent lights with bad remotes. They made our Halloween costumes great, after we overcame some trials. They're probably better up on a wall than worn as a costume.
