There is an app for the T50-LG. And here's the review of my unit.

ALPICOOL T50-LG Dual Zone Freezer (R-box) Cooling Cycle Observation – Light Loading

Loading:
•	Refrigerator (L-box) with a gallon jug of water
•	Freezer (R-box) with 4 12-oz bottled water and a pound of frozen meat

Settings:
Power: AC adapter
Power saving: MAX
L-box @36 F
R-box @-4 F

Actual Starting Temperatures:
L-box: 38F
R-box: -4F
Room Temperature: 76F

Cycle description:
(Note: L-box maintains temperature display of 33F to 39F degrees. Current levels approximate using my clamp meter)
a.	Fan (and presumably the compressor) turns OFF when setpoints are reached; Current:0.1A@14.5V
b.	For 6 MINUTES, freezer temperature display climbs up to 0F (4 degrees above setpoint)
c.	Fan (and presumably the compressor) turns ON (after being off for 6 minutes); Current:2.0A@14.5V (30 Watts)
d.	For 9 MINUTES (longer if the L-box needs cooling during the cycle, see note below) the freezer temperature display continues to climb to 4F degrees (also higher if the L-box needs cooling) - total warming of 8F degrees (-4 plus 4) in the freezer
e.	For 3 MINUTES (longer if the L-box needs cooling during the cycle, see note below) the freezer temperature display goes down (cooling period); Current jumps to 3.0A@14.5V(45 Watts)
f.	Freezer reaches setpoint at -4F; fan (and presumably the compressor) turns OFF (after being on for 12 minutes, 9+3); Current:0.1A@14.5V
g.	Cycle repeats (Total normal cycle time = 18 minutes, OFF 6 minutes, ON 12 minutes)

Note: Items d and e above are prolonged when the L-box temperature goes beyond its allowed temperature range (i.e. it gets warmer than 39 degrees, in this example) – this means the L-box cooling has priority, i.e. the L-box is cooled to its setpoint first before cooling resumes for the freezer (R-box). It also means that the compressor cools only one box at a time, not simultaneously. The fan/compressor ON/OFF durations vary depending on the L-box’s starting temperature relative to the R-box’s temperature during the cycle.

Note: This is for very light loading in the boxes; the appliance will get much more efficient (longer OFF duration and shorter compressor ON duration) when the boxes are completely FULL of already cooled/frozen food.

How do you set the temperature for the other side, switch the controls between fridge and freezer side?

The divider has to be in for it to have fridge/freezer combo. you can change temp in app or touch the settings button to swap from left or right side.
