Great for small hallways

The bench was easy to assemble and is definitely a solid piece piece. It was a little pricey but so were all of the other ones I was looking at. The reason I gave this 5 stars - it is solid enough that it will stand the test of time.

Easy to put together, very sturdy! I have gotten many compliments on it. Great for small entry ways.

Great bench, comfortable to sit on to put on shoes. One leg was bent in the box, but the box was undamaged. I just put it to the rear so it's out of sight.

The bench was easy enough to put together and is very sturdy. It's at a good height and width. My only con about this piece is that the cushion does NOT attach to the bench...it slides around on the top of the bench. I guess I'll need to glue it.

Overall I do like this shoe bench. Its pleasing to the eye and super sturdy and fits wonderfully for tight spaces. However there are some design flaws that I should point out. When I (gently) locked the cam-locks, the faux wood finish around the lock came apart (see pictures). This was really displeasing but I can live with it since the damage is on the inside of the shelf so you can't really see it. We have been using it for about 2 weeks now and I noticed that the staples on the bottom of the seat are rubbing against the shelf causing some damage (see pictures). To avoid this I would probably put some kind of backing to cover the staples, even simple packing tape would do. So if you have been looking for a shoe bench for a tight space then this is the one for you. It's attractive, sturdy, and cheap. But beware of the cam-locks and cover the staples on the bottom of the cushion.
