Neuroscience for the Mental Health Clinician

Well written, lucid explanation of an intensely complex subject. As a practicing Pediatrician realizing (as many other primary care Docs do) that I needed a comprehensive review of Neuroscience this proved to be the perfect choice.

Good purchase & timely delivery

I got this book at a recommendation of a friend. Initillay going through the first few chapter I was impressed, specially with the chapter draw the brain but later the book becomes very dry and it's too much information, not sure whether that's required or not. I am a first year resident still have not finished the book but I was hoping for a simpler and to the point book. It would interesting to know other people's reviews

Chapter one okay, thereafter the book becomes very difficult to read. The title is indeed a misnomer. There are many types of mental health clinicians, this would not be appropriate for anyone less than those obtaining their medical degree in neurology. I’m a provider and it was way over my head.
