Tank Grown Duckweed - 3 Types - Greater Duckweed - Duckweed - Star Duckweed (Lemna minor)

Looks tiny at first but grows so quickly..looks great

How I wish I had quarantined these before adding them to my tank! Upon opening the bag, the first thing I noticed was how little there was in it. Second thing I noticed is that it didn't look very green and lush as I've seen photos of other people's duckweed look, but I figured that they'd populate and get healthier with time. Four days after adding these, my tank had grown a thick brown film, two small snails that I never added are now doing their business in my tank, and upon pulling these plants out I found two larva of some kind bundled up in the duckweed like a sleeping bag (see photos). Nasty. I wish I had never even wanted duckweed in the first place. Don't bother!

So good my fish are most of it, but regenerates fast so still have a bit for now lol. I may buy again no fault for the product, just my fish love it more than I can admire it.

It was a small amount however duckweed grows very quickly. the plants arrived in good condition and are doing well

Takes a while for it to grow and even than doaent look to good personally I won't buy it again tho the planet where tiny tho expected and alive

As you can see from the picture there's hardly anything there. Id read reviews about small amounts but figured they were talking about the amount in the advertising picture and since I've only got a small pond I don't need loads. However there is nothing like the amount in the ad. Seriously disappointing! I've put it in a bucket and I'm hoping it will grow quickly. 🙏🏼 Otherwise the little that is there looks healthy enough. Also no instructions or advice in the packaging for this plant. I'll update in a few weeks.

Very disappointed with this product. Have ordered duck weed before and know you don’t get much but it grows and spreads but the amount sent to me this time is very very tiny . Will see if it grows but so far very unhappy.
