Adapter Set Compatible with Sharpie for Use in Cricut Joy and Joy Xtra by MW Precision Designs

At the beginning I was having issues with getting a misaligned design from my Cricut Joy when I used the Sharpie Ultra Fine pen and its SUFP adapter even after following the enclosed instructions. I contacted customer service and they quickly responded and helped me troubleshoot. They even offered to send a refund if I wanted. But I experimented and found that if I lined up the “U” on the SUFP adapter with the name “Sharpie” of the pen as I placed the adapter on the pen, then placed it in the holder of my Joy, I consistently got an aligned design. Problem solved!

Wow! These are absolutely awesome and saved me money, being able to use the Sharpies I have and not the "speciality" expensive accessory pens for my Cricut machine. I use ultra thin permanent Sharpies for my paper crafts, and these adapters are amazing. Thank you for inventing these!

Love it! Works perfect!!

They are easy to use as you put the pen and then in the machine and go. It is a success because I can use basically any marker from a wide variety of brands. I don't have to limit myself to expensive Cricut pens. It comes with a guide to the different brands of pens that I can use. I give it a star because the material feels a bit brittle. It is not robust.

Works great! I was able to use fine point sharpie markers, ultra fine point sharpie markers, and the Cricut water color markers with my Cricut joy xtra! I was super excited to use the Cricut markers because they don’t fit the joy or joy xtra without these, writing turned out great!

Fits perfectly. Could not ask for anything better to work with my Cricut Joy. So I use it with the ultra-fine sharpie pens. Absolutely love this adapter set.

Yeah I was surprised but they really do work and perfectly. I use my Cricut Joy very rarely but I wasn't about to purchase their $$$ exclusive pens. I did purchase their Smart Vinyl though and that's where I used these pens, to make one label for homemade salsa lol. At first I was nervous because the Smart Vinyl was so shiny and I thought the pens (Sharpie Ultra Fine Point ElectroPop) would slip around and not even write, but it wrote perfectly with no missed lines. I slipped the pink sleeve on to the pen and popped it right into the Joy. Just be sure to give it a second to dry after it finishes to write! I hate the fact that the Cricut Joy cannot "color in" anything so of course you'll have to draw outlines of what you want and use the pens to color it in. In fact, that's the only concern I had because coloring things in, the paper is slippery and you wonder if the color will even stick but it does. Just make sure you read the instructions on little cards that come with this item, and your project will be perfect!
