Does what it’s supposed to. Helped my swing a lot, but not that durable
I really like this mat. It does what it’s supposed to. I’ve been using it everyday for about 2 weeks. The white painted lines overlayed on the velvet material do start to wear almost immediately. I didn’t have super high hopes for this, based on reviews and price (not that $30 for a piece of velvet tacked to a rubber doormat is a bargain - but respectively), but I can say I’m satisfied with my purchase. So far the green velvet material has held up well after daily use. I was able to correct an out to in swing issue I was encountering and helped me with ball first contact. It hasn’t ripped as it has for some. I personally didn’t have any issue hitting balls off it (balls rolling off may). However, when I do hit balls off of it I do so very sparingly. I try to use clean golf clubs, use it indoors or in a clean area in my yard and I try to simply skim the surface in order to see the shape/orientation/start of the divot I would be creating. So far it’s done exactly what I hoped it would. It has gotten some dirt stains on it that sort of mat the velvet, but I used a little diluted dish soap and it came right out and back to the original appearance. It’s not a perfect product, but I think if you treat it with a little care it should last and help you for some time.

Works well, but moves around easily
Got this to practice my low point and check on my path. The material (whatever it is) shows both very well, and easily clears with a light wipe back in the other direction. My only gripe is that it does not stay in one place. Even when just practicing short pitch shots, it’ll slide forward. This has been the case on both our low pile carpet and vinyl plank kitchen floor. It’s not a deal breaker by any means, but it does shorten my practice time because I get tired of having to constantly move it back and adjust it. Finally, I’ve seen other reviewers complain about its durability. I can’t really comment on that because of how lightly I use mine (only one or two full swings every once in a while to get a quick check on my low point and path, and otherwise only half swings for practice and/or chips and pitches). But for what I’ve used it for, I think it will last several years at least.

Perfect for indoor drills
I set this up in the back room to hit foam balls into a hanging bedsheet. I’m just a beginner, but I’ve improved more from this little mat than from a mirror, video, coach or any of the other tools I’ve used for immediate feedback. And I’ve tried just about everything except the expensive electronic monitors. It’s wearing out after about nine months, but I use it every day because it’s right there all the time. And it’s fun!

Piece of Junk!!!
Quality is terrible. Had for 2 days…Tore with less than 50 swings on it.

It works as advertised
It showed me where I was mishitting the ball, I was consistently missing in the same spot, and after reading some tips, and making some adjustments to my stance, I was able to greatly improve my impact zone. From making a "perfect" divot maybe one out of fifteen times, and the rest of the time hitting it fat to a greater or lesser extent, I began making the correct divot more than half the time. This is only after one day. It also allows you to practice without a ball and have a good idea what would have happened had you actually hit a ball. I took the biggest one, and I am not sure that this was necessary, but I do like it, nonetheless. I think that the big one would be more helpful if you are having problems with slicing or hooking the ball, which is not my issue. With it you could figure out if a swing would have resulted in a slice or a hook, as well as if you hit it fat or thin. My only complaint is that it said when I ordered it that it would come within a week, and only after that date had passed, was I notified that it would take an additional month to arrive. That is the only reason I docked them a star. Edit: I changed it to five stars. I don't know if you have to buy this particular one, but after practicing with it for a week, for a short time about three times a day, I went on the course and it had changed my game. At first it made it worse, then it got far better.

Not Very Durable; Unable to change ripped surface
Used this for 1 season and the top ripped. The top is riveted in place, so it is not replaceable. The pad also shifts positions after every stroke, needing to be re-centered constantly. I really wanted one of these things to show me my swing path, but it's just not as valuable as it seems. Go to the range instead.

Best golf swing training aid!
I was a bit worried about the durability after reading (and seeing the images) about how the mat was getting shredded after minimal usage. Happy to report that (at least for so far) my mat has stood up to my fat shots and mishits. I can't get over how impressed I am with this simple, yet effective swing training aid. My iron shots have always been problematic to the point where I was considering converting to fairway woods and hybrids. But on my first day of using this mat, the feedback was immediate and enabled me to really work on correcting my swing path's lowpoint. In only a week of using this mat there was a noticeable improvement with my irons. I have more confidence in using them now thanks to this mat. I think I'll purchase another one because it is inevitable this mat will not last forever, but for now it gets the maximum 5-star rating from me.

Great product except the markings
This mat is heavy, seems well made (except the markings), and mostly stays in place when using without anchors due to its weight. I've taken about 15 swings on it and it has marked my swing through each time which is wonderful. A couple were on target but most were slightly outside in which is what I thought based on my play and my father telling me. I had one swinging with my 7 iron that hit the mat just behind the ball mark which did move the mat about an inch. That swing cracked the markings just behind the ball placement mark. That being said, I wonder how many more hits like that will eventually rip off the markings on top? This is the only problem I see with this product or it would have received 5 stars after about 15 swings of the club.

Not worth the high price
Very poor quality for a very high price. This happened after a few days of swinging on the mat. One thing to note is that I am a young male that has a high swing speed, which is why I bought the most expensive mat. I asked the seller for a refund and they only offered 50% off and for me to keep this junk. I see they have since raised the price haha wow how rude to the poor unsuspecting customers. Let this be your warning to just go and buy the cheaper versions out there. This one is not worth it unless they decide to realign the price with the quality.
