SO i installed these with the brass 3 way "y" i purchased off their site and not from Amazon. It was a good price for the two lights and the fitting. First things, the bulbs feel sturdy and strong which is good. Installation was difficult simply bc of it being installed on a boat and boat installations suck... I installed it with the bluetooth controller tied directly into one of my spare batteries on the boat. Here is the first issue, the lights NEVER turn off completely. They will dim when I turn the lights off in the app and close the app out... But WILL NOT turn completely off unless I disconnect them from the battery. Secondly the APP comes with ZERO instructions or assistance (Unless you can read Chinese, then you are set. All the help menus, instructions, and forum are in Chinese). I cannot get both lights to consistently display the same color. I can "mess" with the RGB settings in the app and get them to display the same color occasionally but not consistently... Then when I do get them to match each other they do not match the color on the app... I have reached out to Green Glow Dock Lights LLC for help and I am awaiting their response before giving this a higher or lower remark. But upon initial installation I am not impressed with functionality, nor brightness... Only time will tell if I can get them to function properly with help from the company explaining the app. Or if I return these and get a more expensive "Tried and True" Brand.
