I can actually walk in them correctly without my feet sliding out of them. I will add that they are narrow. I am hope they will stretch just a bit as all my previous slippers have. He loves them. They do run 1/2 size small. His first pair lasted about a year and a half. The insides get matted down after awhile but the soles and shoe structure is still good.
