In terms of hardware is great, B&W eink, super light and cool. Now the software. You won't be able to use it but but with the 'official' Waveshre app.... if you manage to find the apk (for Android) within their crappy website and install it.Oh do you have a Samsung smartphone? Well, you are out of luck because it won't work with it! It's just the most popular Android smartphone manufacturer so why bother having an app that works with it, right?If you manage to get the app to work (I did use an old Pixel2 just to test it), then you have to hope the app itself doesn't crash every 2 minutes!A mess!! It's a shame as the technology per se is great. Once again, we are left behind by the software!

I love the idea behind this product and if it had worked reliably I would have given it 5 stars. The construction of the product is very good, it's light and about 9mm in thickness ideal for sticking on the front of the fridge which is what I wanted it for. However I managed to get it to update once after quite a bit of trial and error but ever since I have not been able to get it to connect to change the screen. I have tried every angle and position possible. I will be returning for a refund I'm afraid.

Habe nun alles mögliche Versucht, aber die App funktioniert auf Android 14 nicht. Die App zeigt selbst an, dass sie für ältere Versionen ist. Eine aktuellere wird nirgends angeboten.Mit einem Alten Handy samt älteren Android funktioniert es problemlos. Aber das kann ja nicht Sinn der Sache sein. Wird wohl zurückgehen, schade. Sonst wäre es für meinen Anwendungsbereich optimal.UPDATE: Die Antwort des Supports vom original Hersteller war noch ernüchternder:"Hello,I'm sorry that because of the compatibility issue, the APP could not support Samsung phone."Erstens wäre das ein Armutszeugnis, zweitens klappt es mit einem älteren Galaxy S8 tadellos.

Lo volevo utilizzare al posto di una lavagnetta per fare le foto ai campioni di laboratorio in modo da avere delle foto professionali. Bel prodotto, ma deludente l'App: Per scaricarla devi spulciare tra le righe di Amazon, copiare il link, poi scaricare l'APk e poi violare tutte le regole di sicurezza dello Smartphone. Lo sconsiglio come tutte le cose che funzionano con una App (per di più cinese), quando questa non sarà più in rete dovrete buttare tutto. La connessione NFC è ballerina e spesso fa "resettare" l'app che torna alla home page. Alla fine ce la si fa ad aggiornarlo, ma che fatica!
