Vermont Christmas Company Toy Shop Jigsaw Puzzle 1000 Piece

Haven’t put this one together yet. I am a repeat customer and have enjoyed every puzzle I have bought from Vermont Christmas Company.

I do a lot of puzzles. Prefer them to be fun. This puzzle has lots of pieces that do not secure together. When trying to complete outside edges I discovered that lots of what appeared to be edges were in fact inner parts of puzzle. Gave up and moved on.

Fun puzzle. It’s almost Christmas!

Puzzle is colorful and fun to put together until at the end there are three pieces left and none of which are the piece needed to finish the puzzle. It’s like reading a mystery where the last chapter is ripped out!Ordered it last year but didn’t get to it until after the return window closed!

I have always loved Vermont Christmas Company Puzzles for the high quality and beautiful pictures. This one does not live up to that standard in my opinion. In the attached pictures are examples of the types of pieces. The first piece on the left is from my last VCC puzzle, The Star on Top. The other pieces are from the Toy Shop puzzle. The pieces are much smaller, thinner, and in very unusual shapes. They just don’t feel as substantial as the other puzzles I’ve done from this company. Some people may like this kind of puzzle, but I’m finding it really hard to work on. I should have noticed that the finished size of this puzzle is 19x26, while the other ones I’ve done are 24 x30. I’ll pay more attention next time!

I have been buying tons of puzzles this year due to only leaving the house for work! I love Christmas, and this was one of the brightest and most cheerful Christmas puzzles I could find on here. 1000 pieces are my favorite since they take more time. This one has a wide variation of pretty colors and the pieces are all different shapes and sizes, which makes it much more challenging to complete! It was nicely packaged, too! Such a beautiful puzzle!

I have to say I was nearly ready to give up on this as it’s harder than most 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles. I’m glad I persevered because it’s a very well made, detailed jigsaw. The pieces are unusually shaped but this add to it rather than takes away. I thought nothing could beat Ravensburger - I was wrong!

I love to do puzzles and have completed at least 50, but this puzzle is very infuriating. The pieces are really weird and it is not fun to put together at all
