US Serif Software PhotoPlus X8

I bought this product just for the organizing abilities however was pleasantly surprised at the powerful editing abilities. I use a very old version of Photoshop and find many of these editing tools very comparable. This is a buy for sure!

Actually this could have been a great product "in the day" However most of the tools are not available for use. The product key was accepted. But it seems out dated because I cannot register it. I have been to the website and even phone them but no one is home. I'm guessing they have gone out of business.

Terrific editor. Still learning it, but has great tutorials. Patience.

Do not have this product.

I had Photoplus X6, and Serif advertised this as having new and improved tools, including a defringing tool and something called the HSL tool. First of all, X8 doesn't actually seem to be any different than X6, and the new tools mentioned are difficult to find, and more difficult to use. Serif does not actually provide any information in using these! The best part of any Serif product is the CommunityPlus forums where there are lots of fellow users who will answer questions within a few hours, usually. So I have had to use them a lot to use Photoplus. I also use Webplus, which I think is a great program, and Drawplus seems to be ok, but Photoplus...not so much. I wish I could return it.The program is not very intuitive, and I've been using IrfanView mostly (which is really not very intuitive). but a better program really, and free. So if you're looking for a photoediting program, and you want to try Photoplus, buy and older, cheaper version than X8.

Do not buy SERIF SOFTWARE PRODUCTS. Their softwear are not compatible with Windows 10 and they do not provide any service or help in USA. I have all their products CD's, books and they all useless. Interested in making website download WordPress and find template. There are many beautifull free tamplates and many YouTube how to use it.

love this first of all let me say this the people of Serif are great to work with. Right this must be one of the best programs I have ever used but then I could be called bias there is not much you cannot do with this work of art and its so easy once you get the hang of it to use.. the booklet that comes with it is a great read and so easy to under stand get it soon as you can.

I use this for family history, and had to get a new programme because having upgraded to Windows 10 it would not accept my old programme. This disc was very reasonably priced, and is working great.Good price
