This desk was a great find, I bought mine at 40$ when it was 50% off and it’s great. The black paint on top has no chips in it, but the white paint on top had a little black smudge here and there, all of them are on the sides though so I don’t really notice them. Building the desk was pretty easy too, the pieces don’t click together or anything so you just have to tighten them together and make sure the pieces are lined up correctly, or else they’ll be crooked in the final product. It took me around 40 minutes to build the desk by myself. The desk is very sturdy and can hold my monitor, monitor stand, keyboard and mouse, and some other light items. Overall, for the 40$ price tag, this was a great buy.

Very sturdy, decent material quality for the price. No wobble left to right or front to back, smooth finish on the desktop though there is a slight ridge between the two sections. The support beams and legs accept magnets, so I was able to do some easy cable management for my laptop and monitor with a couple of strong magnet hooks. Easy to assemble, but be sure not to over tighten the screws as the legs are hollow and will bend inward if you keep screwing in.

I found this desk to be well packaged, the Styrofoam used in this packaging is flexible and does not break into a million particles when opening (Big plus).Pros:-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ I received a desk with no damage to its boards , and no dinks in the metal. Awesome!+ The packaging was easy to open+ When assembled this desk can be configured to have minimal wobble+ The wood seems higher quality than a price range in the $100's+ This desk it taller than other desks, very nice!+ Looks great------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Cons:- This desk had an offset in the holes drilled for part F (Middle bracket for support)- This desks instructions did not specify that parts D and E of page one, step # two, had to be installed in the correct orientation based on legs A and B, so that the brackets installed in step 7 can be installed to the pre drilled holes in the legs of the desk. if the D and E brackets are reversed during step 2, and the user does not realize that until step 7, the user will have to restart the assembly of mentioned desk so that parts D and E may be swapped, and said corner brackets can be installed.- If the user is too lazy to correct this issue (Or just plain is frustrated and wont restart the assembly) they will end up with a 3 star desk that is way too wobbly for regular use like writing and leaning. ( I chose to correct mine ) .- The Allen Key provided was destroyed by the end of the desks assembly because it was not tough enough. However, I appreciate that it wasn't the other way around and the screws get stripped instead (Very unlikely for an Allen bolt to get stripped though, you'd have to try hard).-----------------------------------------------------------------------------SUMMARY:+ This desk is great for college students because its cheap and doesn't fall apart as soon as you use it. Good enough for me.PRO TIP:+ I bought a Fox-E-Mart Straight desk AND an L shape, that way I can make a sort of U shape out of both desks combined.+ So if you want a cheap U shaped desk, buy: ( two L desks ) OR ( One straight desk + one L desk ) .

I am accepting my fate as a long term WFH employee. I grew tired of my folding table and decided to get a small desk to take to formalize my situation. I liked the look and size of this desk. I was a little leary after reading many reviews commenting on the assembly of the desk. I had no issues at all. Everything was labeled very well and the instructions were basic, but very clear. They even sent extra of all the screws needed. My only gripe is the included hex key stripped almost immediately. But if you have purchased anything in the last 10 year you already knew that was going to happen. I have a much more robust hex tool from the hardware store and that did the trick. Go get yourself one and thank me later. This won't be a family heirloom, but it's going to get the job done and for an affordable price.

Stop right now and buy this desk already! Sturdy, well-made, quality piece of furniture. I was a little doubtful that I could assemble this by myself, but I was able to do it in less than an hour, and with zero previous experience I might add. 😁 I used a dining room chair to help hold, brace, and prop pieces during the assembly process (a great hack if you are doing it alone). I was kind of proud of myself when I was finished (girl power!). Don't let the inexpensive price point fool you -- this is a quality, rich-looking desk that won't disappoint! Good luck!

The media could not be loaded.  It was fairly easy to put together by myself. With the exception of not having the legs the right way to fit the top lol. Got that figured out and finished it in about an hour. I am glad for the extra screws in each bag. One was stripped fairly quickly and happy to have a replacement. It is pretty sturdy. Perfect space for what I need to move my office back into my bedroom for privacy and quietness while working.

All in all, this is a great table/desk. I did knock it down one star for sturdiness because the holes for the supporting dowels were misaligned and I could not use them. If not careful, the two separate top plates could fold open (upward) if you tried to pick it up without gripping it by the metal frame. Other than that it's plenty sturdy. I never have wobbles, and it holds my pc and mouse and keyboard with plenty of room to spare.

I am very happy with this purchase! It only took 10 minutes to assemble! The frame is light weight and very sturdy! I highly recommend this table!

I can't stand assembling Ikea products. Period.This desk arrived with clear instructions. Clearly labelled parts. One extra item (screw - wooden dowel - etc) for each type. (i.e. You need 5 A screws - they give you 6) Assembled in 20 minutes.The desk is stable and the customer is happy.
