Surprisingly good, experiment with how to fit it properly
My knees suddenly began to give out after decades of very mild and insignificant arthritis which came and went. It finally came and didn't go and I found myself struggling to get up and down a few steps. Big shock and adjustment. This was the first knee pad I bought based on many reviews, and I wasn't expecting too much from it but it does work. It supports my worst knee well enough to get up and down the steps and walk around the supermarket without pain. When the knee is at its most sensitive there is some discomfort still but without the brace I doubt I would be able to walk at all. This is almost a perfect solution and at this price, a no-brainer. I have only the one critique, and that is that there seems to be too much material below the knee even though the top fits just fine. The brace does bunch up when the lower strap is tightened and there's just too much of it to completely straighten out. This is because the brace is the same width all the way down, while the upper leg is that much wider than the lower. It doesn't interfere at all with the working of the brace, it just makes it a bit more bulky below the knee. I find it will still fit under jeans, so no big deal, but I knocked a star off for the imperfect fit. [UPDATED] I experimented with fitting the lower part before the upper and finishing with the center, which is not the way it's supposed to be done according to the instructions. It works far better now. It's possible to smooth out the bottom part this way, as shown in the photos. So I put the fifth star back, and suggest that before you give up on a good fit you also take time to explore what works for you, which may not necessarily be the way the instructions suggest. Whatever works for you, is the right way to do it.

So far, so good!
I was looking for braces that I didn't have to pull up over my calves/legs because it's a pain when I have pants on. Also for smaller ones than the big black ugly ones that I got from my ortho doctor. These are nice so far, they are easy to fit to your leg, and the straps hold up to motion very well. I put them on and did yard work, which entailed a lot of bending and walking around. They held up fine, no gapping or loosening of the straps, and since they don't cover as much of the leg as the others do, they were really comfortable as far as that goes. They supported my knees perfectly, I didn't have any pain or tired feeling from them. I have arthritis in my knees, no injury or anything like that, so I need just support around the kneecap. These fit the bill very well, and the color is neutral, which is also something I want. I'd recommend these to anyone who wants a decent brace for doing moderate activity. They appear to be very durable, so I'm hoping that I will get plenty of use out of them. Any changes and I will update my review.

Well made, good support , comfortable. Very pleased.
I placed my order after pulling a ligament behind my knee. The material is thick, but light weight, breathable and appears to be durable. I have washed it once and it still looks and fits like new. This knee support is easier to put on than a previous one I used a couple years ago. Fasten the center strap first to hold it in position while fasting the outer two straps. Before wearing the knee support, my knee would sometimes not support my weight and twist. The knee brace gave my knee the needed support and kept the swelling down. It was surprisingly comfortable to wear. The previous one I owned was not comfortable and caused sweating. Even being outside with temperatures in the upper eighties, I didn’t have a problem with sweating and the material getting wet like my previous knee support.

Best knee brace for cycling with patellofemoral arthritis that I've tried
I've got bilateral patellofemoral arthritis and need knee braces to help the knee track properly while cycling, especially for standing. I've tried three different models, all which work reasonably well. But this seems to have just the right amount of stiffness to allow motion but still support the knee. The gripper strips are also helpful for keeping it from sliding down, especially when worn over leg warmers. 1/4/2021 Update: I still love these knee braces since they work great and saved my cycling. But one negative is that the velcro wears out fairly quickly. The instructions stress to peel back the velcro slowly to extend its life. I do that, but still only get ~4 months of use before the velcro no longer holds strongly enough and starts to pop open when I flex my knee. I otherwise like the braces so much that I bought four more pairs in case they stop making them. But an upgrade in the velcro fastener material, if that's available, would be a big improvement.

Good product while it lasted
I bought this knee support on February 17 of this year due to arthritis. I would wear it during flare ups that caused my knee to be painful and unstable while walking. I had ordered a couple of different ones so I could judge how each felt, how easy it was to put on and how much range of motion I still had while wearing them. This was the one I chose, mainly because I could get good compression on my knee and still have enough range of motion. It worked as advertised, but unfortunately, it only lasted two months to the day because of what I see as a defect. . By that I mean I was happy with the product until it became unusable because the Velcro started to fail, and if I bent my knee too much, sometimes it didn't take much, the top two straps would come undone. This was extremely frustrating when I had it on under jeans with the fit I wanted, and I would feel the straps come undone. If I was out in public I just had to deal with it until I was somewhere to readjust it and hope it would stay on. While it lasted it did give me relief in pain and make it easier to walk. Would I recommend it? I would have to say no from my experience unless someone didn't mind replacing it often or until an improvement is made with the Velcro. Back to the search.

Helps with subluxing
I purchased the TechWare Pro Knee Wrap Brace Support because my knees subluxes a lot, then completely blew knee and now patella not stable at all. I have been diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos and this is helping a lot until hinged braces from specialist come in. I will continue to wear this at night. Their customer care is very helpful too. I ordered according to chart but my knee injury made me need a bigger size. They promptly sent a bigger size and it fits perfect. So, for my knee, it runs a little smaller than chart. This brace gives a lot of support to the whole knee, stabilizes the patella, doesn't get too hot, is a wrap around for better comfort, and the velcro holds tight. This is not over bulky and comfortable to wear day and night as I have to. Only thing I would remind people is to wash before wearing if possible. I did not because needed it right away. It left red on my compression leggings. That was my fault not company. I washed it and put some vinegar in the water to set the color and now no problems. Has to be hand washed and air dried. Great product and customer care and helps me walk and keeps knee more stable. Definitely recommend.

Perfect knee support...until it isn't (contact company if issue)...and a fix for the problem
Where do I begin? Very well constructed. It's made from quality materials and the attention to detail with regard to its features is excellent. It works. My kneecap doesn't shift around when I walk (use it for exercise walks and dog walking)...that occasional "niggle" of pain is gone. It's comfortable. When walking, I forget there's anything there (except for the absence of pain). The Velcro tabs don't stick out and look lumpy under my jeans. This was an unexpected bonus. It's easy to put on...my other adjustable ones always seemed to need more fiddling with to get just right. It doesn't bunch up while I'm walking...like some of the other non-adjustable ones used to do. It fits just right...it doesn't mind that my upper knee area is a bit...ahem...more developed than it should be. Ahhh....the fit....feels good. I'm glad a bought a back-up for when I wash it and it needs to dry before wearing again. I'd hate to have to substitute one of the old ones for those days. UPDATE: Three months later (wearing once a day for a 4 mile walk), the Velcro no longer sticks to the fuzzy fabric. No matter how much I bend my knee before affixing, it pulls apart the minute I start to walk (and, no, I don't walk funny). Why can't this manufacturer use Velcro for both sides of the attachment? Fuzzy stuff just doesn't hold up. [Iron-on Velcro won't hold on the fuzzy and it's too hard for me to get a needle through...I was so hoping I could fix this.] My search continues...I won't bother buying another one of these at this price. UPDATE 2 (same day as update 1): I added in one of the stars I'd deducted. TechWare contacted me without my asking...and offered a replacement for the support I'd just trashed and potentially a replacement for the second support I'd purchased at the same time as that one...which I just started using this morning and so can't evaluate it. Great customer service deserves a star of its own. Thanks, Ted! UPDATE 3: The second one I'd bought is not showing any signs of Velcro inadequacy. I'm thinking I just got a funky one the first time. Thanks, again, Ted!!! UPDATE 4: All of mine started showing signs of weak Velcro....definitely not a heavy duty version of the stuff. BUT If you otherwise like this one as much as I do, get yourself some Handy Bands (Amor Imports) to secure the knee brace straps. They work wonderfully and will extend the life of your knee brace.

Instant support for my unstable knee
This is my second review of this product. I misplaced the first one I purchased, so I bought again and I bought the same size, a size Large. I'm now purchasing a third one, because I had surgery the end of January 2023 and with the swelling in my leg and around my knee, the middle strap is just barely making it around to attach to the velcro. I need it for a flight, to contain the swelling, as recommended by my physiotherapist. So, I decided for comfort sake, I'll purchase an X-Large and that should be good while my knee is still swollen. I do find that my knee feels more stable wearing this when I'm walking. I love that it is adjustable. I find it is best against the skin, as it stays in place better. Over fabric, especially a slick fabric, it tends to slide down. It's a great brace, I'd highly recommend it.
