Kitty Sift Disposable Sifting Litter Box Liners (Large, Pack of 12), Plastic Free

I am NOT a paid reviewer, nor is my review fake or planted by unscrupulous sellers. I exist, I use it and here’s my honest review. Just saying. This litter system has finally made peace in our multi cat home. Cleaning is as easy as lift, sift. No re-pouring of litter as is required of other systems I investigated. Really: reporting has you in contact with litter, right? Still gross, still dust flying, still the need to pick up a heavy-ish pan of litter! So, this system eliminates the shortcomings of standard sifting, all while being ecologically responsible. Sift and go, making the job literally 30 seconds start to finish. No touching litter, no box cleaning. No maintenance at all, and no fall through of litter into the pan. Each layer is turned 180, so sifting the top automatically puts the clean litter into the fresh box! I have multiple litter preference cats, so each spoiled cat gets their own litter type, and only one easy-peas change of all boxes. Changing 4 sets of litter (three cats, one each plus one extra which is recommended) takes 5 or less minutes. I’m not kidding. Now my kids don’t even think twice about the job. Literally, if they walk by and see a full box, they independently just sift and toss. They no longer mind, it’s so easy. It’s as simple as flushing a toilet. It’s pricy, yes, but worth every cent. You can get sets of 12 refills at a time, so four sets for four boxes. No stink, no yuck, saves litter, eliminates heavy litter refreshes (just add a bit as needed). I’m recovering from a brain injury, and for me, seniors, multiple cats, reticent kids, significant others or roommates can now tolerate cats with no smell, tracking, traces of stored litter or worry about the ecosystem of the pans. Again, I have a brain injury, so forgive spelling and grammar errors. Only came with 10 sifting trays, not 12. Five traya per a pack. According to the package wrapper there are only supposed to be 5 sifting trays. So someone put the description in wrong. Other than that the trays are sturdy for being biodegradable and can be reused.

I bought this because I wanted a litter box that was more environmentally friendly than the scoopfree boxes we were using. Problem is that the cats scratch it badly and the clumps are stuck to the sides and soaked in. Making it harder to clean. Plus the slits either aren’t fully cut or they get clogged with clumps and it takes forever to sift. I love the idea but it was too much of a hassle.

My husband and I are in our 80’s and this item is a real back saver. Just sift and throw away!

Didn’t work, as I try to pull it out of the liter box it breaks on one side.

I would give zero stars if possible. These were absolutely horrible. They rip apart, practically disintegrating when lifted. Sifting litter through them is an absolute laugh. The one time they didn’t fall apart when separated it was nearly impossible to shake and sift the litter through without it going everywhere, and the effort it takes to do this....it’s just so much easier to go back to scooping.

My cat likes to dig, then pee, so, it clings to the bottom.Sides are so loose and large amount of litter leaks through.Also, my cat likes to "shred" any paper so the side walls are bitten off, turning into hundreds of tiny pieces of paper, producing yet more mess on top of litter everywhere.You may need heavy duty trash bag to receive the tremendous amount of litter spills as well as extra cardboard pieces to support the walls to use this product.

Works like it says. Wet litter releases easily and does not stick like it does on the plastic pans.Now if only to teach the cats not to sling litter all over the floor. ❤️😇
