No complaints at all so far. Plugged a 160W Kings Folding panel into it, and in late afternoon, Winter sun on the east coast of Australia, angled towards the sun the best I could, I was pulling 7.85A out of this controller which is more than enough to keep my fridge running indefinitely off my lithium battery. Don't let people tell you that an MPPT is superior, because for small panels, there's very little difference in my experience. Excellent controller that I bought as a backup in case my CTEK blows an internal fuse (again) and is totally useless. Build quality is good, hard plastic with an aluminium base plate. The grub screws hold 8AWG cable very well and it won't pull out on their own easily. The LED indicators are very bright and easy to see in sunlight too.

Works very well. Excellent quality. I have setup to run LED lights system in a Cabin. Keeps AGM battery charged all year round, through hot summer and cold winter. It’s a simple rugged design. Flashing light will tell you when battery is charged.

I have solar panels on the roof of my RV and the controller that I had from years ago failed. I purchased this renolgy model and installed it as the replacement. I have the controller in plain view inside the RV to monitor the progress of the charging and batteries. The only issue I have with the new controller is that the lights flash differently with different charge rates or float etc.. It’s nice having the lights to let you know but they can be distracting but ehhh it works great. I think I could do something to hide the lights when we watch a movie as the unit is just above the tv. If the lights are the only issue I wouldn’t worry about them.

I brought this as an upgrade from one of the unbranded charger controllers to give me some room to upgrade and as with all the other Renogy kit I've installed it hasn't disappointed. Holds a better charge voltage for longer delivering more amps and handles cloudy cover better than the cheap unit. Worth the money if you're not splashing out on an MPPT.
