Passed the FE on my first try!
Studied this and Lindeburg - General Engineering 3rd Edition for about 3-4 months. Took the exam late March. Passed. Got EIT Cert by early May. This booklet comes with 2 practice exams that prepare you well for the structure of the exam. Also, use it to practice your timing. Not to mention, a couple of problems from this pop up in the actual exam, or variations of them at least. The Lindeburg book is significantly more difficult, but, in result, over-prepares you for the exam. You’ll feel the confidence boost several questions in once you realize how simpler the exam questions are compared to the practice problems. Would highly recommend to use both of these resources simultaneously to pass the Industrial/Systems FE, hopefully, on your first try. P.S. Practice using your calculator and learn its shortcuts. It’ll save you tons of time!
