Pros: This bottle is very durable and dishwasher safe.Cons: Every time I open it, water shoots EVERYWHERE! Not just a little bit, but an entire straw full and then some! Very distracting trying to take a sip while driving. Glad I have only used water in it. Would not recommend...Unless you are trying to get your kid to bathe more, then this water bottle is ideal!

We actually got this for our 3 year old and it's worked great. It's used daily and goes hiking with us and is holding up really well. It does spit water out at you if the pressure builds up inside but they actually have a warning about that on the tag. To release the pressure you can twist the lid and hear it release. Then close it again to open the flip top. No biggie. My toddler can't do that but he doesn't mind the shower 😄Would LOVE if Owala came out with a smaller version of this water bottle, too, though. Seriously great for kiddos.

I love this water bottle because it has a switch where I can lock it. The downside is after a while of traveling in my bag, when I open up the head, water may spill on me and I noticed there’s water pooling on the inside where the mouth piece rest. Otherwise good for my hydration needs.

The media could not be loaded.  I had an Owala Freesip that I loved, but the lid broke. I thought I would try the flip version. I am terribly disappointed. It leaks horribly! I needed it to be leakproof so that I could put it in a back pack and not worry about it getting my things wet if it isn’t upright. I can’t trust it at all! I love the colors and the design, but I wish it was actually leakproof.

The flip lid is the best lid for a water bottle! Does not leak if locked. It was easy to clean other than the straw part so it would be good to get something to stick in it and clean it. We don’t have a dishwasher but hand washing it worked well. Even when the white and light grey silicone started to get dirty, it washed off with soap and water.This type is great for winter but won’t keep water cold in summer.

Sort of awkward flip about always splashes multiple drops all over and is just not as awesome as the other bottles made by them that I love. Would not purchase this again. Sticking to the standard bottles with less mess!

It doesn't leak. It looks great..I love i can open it with one hand.

Shortly after buying, the water would pool at the straw and when going to drink it leaks all over. Leaks around the rim too. Even if the bottle is only half full. Not the best quality and didn’t last very long for me. Wouldn’t buy again.
